"The Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies has a 24 hour minimum training requirement for unarmed security officers, 70 hours for unarmed private detectives and an additional 15 hours if any of the two professions required the security officer or private detective to carry a firearm. When serious students like "Security Officer Juran Sullivan" come into our academy, get the full state mandated curriculums and put in the real time that the board requires, it doesn't take long for officers to get to work. Unfortunately all to many students drag out the training never completing training or they are looking for the microwave version of training. Security Officer Jarun Sullivan completed all state mandated assignments, did so professionally and without any delays or setbacks. When security and private detective graduates leave our academy we have to know that in the short time that we have them, we have taught them the important role they play and the defensive live saving skills that they need to see the next day.
