Fantastic experience: I've been getting my fingerprints done and using notary services in more than a dozen states for decades. I went to the 604 E. Joppa RD location in Towson this time. This location, by far was the easiest, most efficient and friendliest place I've ever been for these services. My daughter recommended them and states she uses them exclusively. I see why and am grateful for her steering me in their direction. The waiting room had a couple of people ahead of me but the wonderful staff were so efficient that by the time I finished signing a couple of things and paying, it was my turn. It took literally less than 10 minutes from walking in the door. Appreciate the old-style customer service, THANK YOU!!!
Negative experience: No where on the website says that they only do appointments on Saturday. I drive all the way where and could not get waited on this is a big inconvenience please update your website than lady was rude

Fantastic experience: Second time at this location. They accept walk-ins and regardless if it’s crowded or empty wait times are very reasonable!! They’re nice and professional. The space is small but you’ll be in and out so it doesn’t matter. May be slight higher than CJIS on Reisterstown rd but you are paying for the service and convenience.

Fantastic experience: Walked in, and immediately was told to sign in I was asked while signing what was the purpose of the visit, and gave me a list of everything needed. It wasn't many customers in the office. I was called to the back after signing in and the fingerprints were finished in less than 2 minutes. Quite fast and efficient.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. Be careful they will not help with the paperwork knowing that if it’s not filled out correctly they will take your money. I went twice and still do not have my background check.

Negative experience: Would tend to expect some sort of human decency and flexibility around operating hours after calling ahead and showing up at 4:45 (the daily cutoff). Seems like a local establishment that survives off of relationships and so I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: Received an appointment time even though they’re now taking walk in’s. Appointment time at 10 didn’t get seen to well over an hour later and they took someone in front of me who signed in 10 minutes after I got there. Apparently only have one person doing fingerprints.

Positive experience: Changed the rules about having to have an appointment about a week ago. They didn't update their website. I found a note on the door after traveling a long way. After making the call for an appointment outside the door, I confirmed my appointment and informed the receptionist that the making an appointment info was not updated on their website. The receptionist was VERY RUDE! With attitude, yelled, DO YOU WANT THE APPOINTMENT OR NOT?!

Negative experience: The lady that answered the phone this morning is rude and attempted to rush me off of the phone without at least attempting to do a first call resolution. It would be my first time utilizing Absolute solely for my employers sake. She stated that I was unable to start my vehicle license process with Towson even though they’re opened and stated that I should call the Essex location. I call Essex three times because it’s closer and no one is answering the phone. The lady stated there is only 1 lady at the Essex location handling everything. She spoke over me and stopped me while I tried to ask a question to assist another customer. The reviews about the employees being rude are factual. I do not look forward doing business with them but In order to keep my job I need to go through the process with Absolute, unfortunately.

Positive experience: It would be better if they do appointments instead of just walk-in. Wait time can be more than half an hour.
Retake customer satisfaction very seriously. Please contact our office and ask for the owner to discuss any concerns you have.
Negative experience: It was easy to find. I went to be fingerprinted for my job. I object strongly to having to give my social security number as a way to identify myself!! (Numbers should be private). Two new laws passed in Maryland: July 1, 2020 and Oct 1, 2020. They can use an authorization number instead. They have my driver's license number which a social is tied to; that should be enough. When I asked the lady why she needed it all she said was she can't go forward. So it's the program. The program is out-of-date!!. When I hesitated all she could say was ' yes or no'. And when I hesitated she said it again--'yes or no'. I was already there and had driven 50 minutes to get there. The place I went to in Laurel did not require it and I've been there twice. People are more sensitive now and in the past it was common to use the social. Nowadays; it should not be used as a way for identification Where I work I just complained to our management assistant that next time I will NOT go to that business if they still require that in their system.
There are advantages to using a Social Security number that can help prohibit potential difficulties in processing. This is why as a matter of course we usually ask for this information. However, it is not mandatory. Please call our office and speak to our owner to discuss any concerns you may have.

Negative experience: Services are fine but the front desk is discombobulated. I waited over an hour just to receive a number, there were plenty of folks who came after me that had received theirs, and I don’t think I’ll even be able to be seen today. It’s not that busy either, and I’ve been here for two hours now. Don’t know why this process is taking so long.

Positive experience: I had to go twice because I was unaware they were doing finger print cards vs electronic. The building Is Small like a house but you park in the rear of the building. Go inside through the front of the building, sign in on the clip board. Please have your cards if you need them BUT DONT WRITE ON THEM. And make sure you take unexpired photo I. D. They charged $50.00 dollar for finger prints prices vary and are subject to change. The options to pay I think are cash or credit/debit. The hours are Monday through Friday 9-5 EST but they take their last customer at 4:30pm. The prints took literally 7 minutes lol or less. They were fast, what took the most time was the completing the demographics on the finger print cards. They did have Covid precautions the chairs are spaced out, they have clean and dirty pens plus sanitizer on the counter. The technicians wear gloves too.
Did your needs specify fingerprint cards? We offer LiveScan fingerprinting which is the majority of the fingerprints we do for our customers. If you have any concerns please call our office to speak to our owner or a supervisor.

Negative experience: Before, I loved going to this place to get fingerprinted. It’s very continent and usually professional. Now, vaccinated employees are not required to wear masks which made me extremely uncomfortable. If I were a company that serves the public, I would not put someone at the front not wearing a mask. It does not look good for the business and is bad customer service in my opinion.

Negative experience: Half the people working here weren’t wearing masks which is pretty bad for a place that medical professionals and child care professionals are required to go here for background checks for work. If the employees here aren’t wearing masks how am I supposed to trust that the surface I touched to get finger printed is even sanitized?
Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all our customers and staff. In our ongoing efforts we ensure that all equipment is wiped down and all staff working with our customers are wearing a mask at all times. We also practice social distancing within CDC guidelines of 6 ft for all non-client facing employees as well.
Positive experience: The office is looking outdated, yet it is clean and organized. The parking is available for free (first come, first served). The front desk receptionists are courteous and helpful. While waiting, do not expect to receive complimentary services, such as a cup of freshly brewed Keurig coffee or a bottle of spring water. As of December 2020, fingerprinting service (it is an inkless, electronic way of capturing a person's fingerprints in a digitized format) costs $24.00, and Maryland Criminal Record Checks costs $18.00 per customer. Payment methods include cash and major credit cards (including AmEx, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover) are accepted. If your employer requires fingerprinting services and/or a state of Maryland criminal record check, this is the place to be. Please, note: Appointment is a must.
