Negative experience: I've given up at this point with this company. It's been 3 weeks and Mike or Brandon only responds if I reach out for an update, and they continue to make excuses. They make you pay upfront, and ask for your deadline, which means nothing. If I didn't reach out for an update, I don't think I would have heard anything back. Mind you I was told this was a two day, very simple process from Mike. After two weeeks i get a blurry picture from someone's cell phone saying that the parson has been served, with no proof or details. Then I get another email telling me I will be provided an affidavit which they still have not provided. Very unprofessional and a huge waste of time. I am now almosr 4 weeks in with no papers served and have to start over. I will be opening a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Please beware!!! If this is a serious matter look elsewhere!

Negative experience: I will not use again. Hired to serve a couple who lived in the same home. The process server called the wife, she gave the correct address and agreed to accept service at that address. The server then attempted to serve at the wrong address two more times for the required three attempts. Then I was asked to pay $350 to serve the defendants at the address they had provided before the first attempt. They are great with status updates and communicating.

Fantastic experience: I work for a law firm. We needed an out of state service done a couple of years back and Google brought me to Same Day. The service was fast and Mike and his crew were professional and the fee was reasonable. What I didn't realize was that they did services in my area as well so now they get all of our business. I especially like how they keep me posted on their efforts if they cannot locate someone and they don't wait until the summons expires before letting me know. Positive experience: Have used this process service firm several times in the past. Normally they get the job, and do it without issue. The last job though, they failed to communicate a delay, then agreed to get something out by UPS on a particular day. They missed the deadline, sent the UPS, then I ended up with over $100 in UPS charges due to their mishap.

Fantastic experience: These people are AMAZING. I was nervous at first, because this is my first legal rodeo and I've never needed to sue someone before. Fortunately, they have a solution for everything and kept me updated regularly. Negative experience: Be prepared to spend at least 500. Otherwise, this won't work for you. If you have money to spend- great. If not, they drag their feet and it's not a 'same day process' at all.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Did not know where to begin to find a process server. A google search yielded several companies. I called a few and Same Day was the only one where a " real" person who seemed to be an owner or manager ( Mike) picked up right away. He answered my questions in a very courteous and friendly manner. When it came time to make service, Same Day clearly communicated on a failed attempt ( I had provided an out of date address). The individual was served very promptly and professionally with the new address, and I received a prompt report back. I dont want to mislead - a second location requires another $75 fee, but I think that's totally appropriate and very reasonable. Along the way, my inquiries were answered very promptly. It was very good personal service. I highly recommend.

This individual moved 5 states in 1 year to avoid service. Enter SDPS. Fantastic experience: Above and beyond customer service reps! I am all the way in California and needed service done in Baltimore. I worked with Mike and no email went unanswered. When my ex abuser somehow found out about service for court, Mike had a plan ready to go and service was redone within 24 hours. They are quick, diligent and thorough and I cannot thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: Reliable, efficient, and one-stop shopping. I used these guys to serve a defendant in DC. Their automatic notification system lets you know exactly when defendants / their reps have been served, takes time and date stamped picture of the location, and gives you info about the party receiving service at the address (physical description, age, name, etc.) In DC, they automatically submit proof of service to the superior court (DC's version of a what is called a district court, in most jurisdictions). They were cheaper than the other alternatives. I received a pdf of the affidavit of the summons and complaint, before being received by the superior court and after being received / stamped by the court. I highly recommend them to any attorney / law firm.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with the Same Day Process team for around 2 months now. I am a solo attorney based in Denver, CO but I am licensed and/or admitted to courts in MD, DC, PA, etc. I need to get hand-delivery service of process on the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington, DC frequently, and also to send Chamber's/courtesy copies of court filings to Judge's who expect them.
