Fantastic experience: Definitely a professional course given by a former Marine. If you want a serious course, invest in yourself and take the course at this school. If you want a joke course where you fool around and not be on time then this is definitely not your course because Instructor Gunny DOES NOT PLAY!

So once you finish the course you’re basically guaranteed a career/job offer to start you off in the right direction in the industry.

Negative experience: I had a run in with a representative of your company driving a mini black suv with your decals all over it here tonight in Virginia Beach. He was speeding and cut me off. At the light he had some words to say. Fantastic experience: It was very informative the instructor gives you everything you need to be prepared for this field of work I live the training having more knowledge for general life situation it’s not just Security

Negative experience: The course was a good value and the teacher was very good. He knew his stuff. However, he could not keep the attention of some of the class. I found myself falling asleep, and upon discussion with others, they found it quite boring as well. On the second day in, I found myself yawning, struggling to stay awake. Got up to 4 energy drinks and 2 large coffees with espresso shots. Was already counting the seconds to get out of there. Thank God it’s over! But glad I did it.

Fantastic experience: I took The “D Course” recently and it was a great experience! Mr. Cruz did a phenomenal job keeping the class in order during my time there! Considering not everyone took it seriously. Especially at first. This Instructor was informative, fun, polite, and very serious when necessary! The course by law is 40 hours! Just to beware for those interested….but, Mr. Cruz does a great job being fair to everyone with breaks when needed. And his sense of humor helps make the course fly by when it feels like it’s starting to drag! Highly recommended! My only advice is you must have discipline to get through this course! And from what I witnessed during the course some definitely needed it! Thank you Mr. Cruz!

Negative experience: I requested a refund for the G Course and Ammo via email and through the system that they set up about two weeks about and I have not received any response from them as of yet.

Fantastic experience: Did my G recert with Invictus on Sun. This was my second time with this agency and I came away with an even better impression than the last time, unbelievably. I've been a G licensed officer since 2005 and have been through G recert classes all over, the quality of instruction from this agency is unparalleled, honestly. The professionalism and expertise of Victor and Curtis, the range instructors, made this recert class a joy to attend. I had enjoyed last year's class but, this cemented it for me. I won't be going anywhere else for any security related training in the future. I HIGHLY recommend Invictus for reality based security training.

Fantastic experience: Ubaldo Cruz is a great instructor Folks! I recommend them for anyone who is looking to sign up for the D class. It's 40hrs just follow along and write notes when he say's too and you'll be fine. :)

Positive experience: The virtual experience is a disaster. The instructor Cruz becomes very irritated if you have technical issues. He is easily agitated if you message him you are having problems on your end. While you are just alerting him, his response is always like you are irritating him and for you to contact customer support. His facial expressions were always like 'stop bothering me'. I asked a question for clarity and he blasted me by calling out my name and making me feel small. You are the instructor. If someone needs clarity, provide it. You should never belittle anyone or make them feel like their question is irrelevant. I didn't ask another question and limited my participation for that reason alone. IMO he comes off very rude. Gunny, one of his other names, spent the first day babbling and repeating himself. When someone asked if he could get the class started, he yelled at them declaring he was the instructor and things started when he was ready. Cruz lacked professionalism at times. Even when people asked for resources, because he is looked at to be an expert, he would roll his head and say search Google. This is new, but hey, it is not an excuse to be rude to people. I can say I am glad I didn't have to spend 40 hours in a classroom with him. I would have definitely asked to reschedule had he done to me in person what he did online.

Fantastic experience: Officer Ubaldo Cruz is a fantastic teacher. Really nice and very good at giving examples.

Negative experience: This company caress more about a qucik buck than actual service. I've requesting a refund from them since September 8th it's now November 4th. They respond apologizing for the inconveniences, say it takes 2 weeks to process. A month passes nothing happens and when you email them about it they refuse to reply. In conclusion as long as you don't pay for the wrong class you might be able to get your license God willing but a shady company like this I would just pass up and take your business else where just to be safe.

I was impressed with the curriculum, the good quality online format, and the high level of organization. Gunny Cruz is an excellent instructor. Negative experience: This review is not for the instructors but for the company and how they handle customer issues. I call and I am always told someone will call me back, someone will be in touch and nothing. I am trying to get a refund as I have not paid for the class TWICE and no one will get back to me.

Fantastic experience: This school was close to my house and had good ratings. I did not know it was one of the top schools in the area prior to attending, however I understand now why the reviews were so good. The instructors are very knowledgeable in this industry and take pride in their position to equip those with the appropriate knowledge to become a licensed security professional in the state of Florida. Specifically Instructor Cruz for the D course and instructor Curtis for the G course definitely take the curriculum very seriously, all while trying to make it easy going and not stressful. They have all types of people in their courses with many different levels of learning capabilities and they seem to be able to reach all of their students without prejudices. Don’t waste your time with other schools as people traveled over an hour to attend this school and I now know why. #Rev

Fantastic experience: It was great, easy but fun course, lots of information in a much simpler way than expected, don’t listen to the one star reviews, I went through to read them and they were just because people didn’t listen during the class, trust me you can’t go wrong with these guys. Just pay attention it will al come together and if you aren’t sure, just ask, they aren’t a slimy business.

Fantastic experience: Learned a lot from Gunny Cruz, and loved the training offered through my “D” and future “G” Licensing courses. The only reason this place isn’t a 5/5 stars across the board is due to the ignorant excuses given by those who don’t listen and/or follow directions. This course is crystal clear in instructing you how to go about getting your certification and licenses, as well as holding your hand through the process outside of the 40 hours of in class instruction (for the D license). There is NO REASON to not come out of this course a more proficient and knowledgeable future security officer. They even help you get hired!! Invictus is second to none and Gunny Cruz should be given a vacation bonus for how much effort and enthusiasm he puts into each and every 40 hour class he teaches weekly. I HIGHLY recommend Invictus’ training if you want to be noticed as a top security officer in the industry.

Fantastic experience: When I decide to take the D course, I never thought it would be that informational and educational. I would recommend anyone who want to get to the security industry, consider Invictus as your educator. They are doing a fantastic job. They will teach you things that would help you as a citizen not only as a security officer. All the credit for instructor Cruz, he makes sure that you understand what it needs to be a professional security officer.

Positive experience: I'm here in Boynton Beach, FL. The course itself was long. 4 10.5hr days is nothing to laugh at, but I did learn a little while I was here. Mr. Cruz is helpful tries to keep the class interesting & will answer any question you have as long as it's not a hypothetical one. All in all, it's cool.

Negative experience: Invictus is more concerned in putting money in their pockets!!! The level of incompetent is extremely embarrassing on their part. They offered a "equivalent guardian training" which they claimed was at the level that the law required. That was not true as the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office investigated their training and concluded that they did not follow the law accordingly. Do not believe anything they say as it's all bull!

Fantastic experience: Took the G28 Class this weekend and Couldn't possibly be happier. Even having a few years in the field I learned things that I hadn't considered and Both the instructors Were amazing. They ensured range day was safe and incident free and that everyone walked away with a better understanding of the expectations of a Florida Class G License holder. I strongly recommend this company if you are seeking really any kind of more in depth tactical training, or even just the Basic 28 hour G course. They also offer advanced Medic training along with a myriad of others. Scott and the Instructors were amazing and I will absolutely be returning for continued education in the future. For those that may be concerned about the re-qualification structure, It was made VERY clear to me in the class and is stated in the Handbook which adheres to Florida State law: These instructors take every step to ensure 100 percent that you are made aware of the re-qualification requirements and standards.

They have very reasonable prices for their classes very affordable and at the end of your classes Recruiters are there to hire you on the spot.

Fantastic experience: Currently takeing the class. And a lil man 5’6 baby face with a pore excuse for beard and a pair of funny looking cargo shorts with his shirt tucked in speaking to the class. He made me realize that i feel safe takeing the class at Invictus security.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would... all based on one simple fact from experience at the Boynton Beach Invictus School. My husband used Invictus last year to get his G license. His understanding from the instructor and the course material book was that he needed to re qualify to renew his license during the first calendar year after which it was issued. So if he got the license in Oct 2016, it meant he needed to do the re qualify by the end of Dec 2017. Fast forward to this year, and he gets a notice from the state saying that since he didn't re qualify by Oct 2017, his license is now suspended and he needs to redo the entire course again to get his license back. There was one other student in his class that he kept in touch with whom this also happened to. Thinking this was just a simple misunderstanding.. we moved on and resigned up for the class. Now he is back in the class at Invictus, retaking the $200 course, and the instructor is stating the exact same thing! Also come to find out that 3/4 of the class are all people that had to retake it because of the EXACT SAME THING. My husband goes to pay, and the employee who takes the payment TELLS HIM they are vague ON PURPOSE to get more money next year !!!! What kind of deceitful school and instructors would do such a thing to earn an extra buck ?!?! It makes you wonder what else is being taught wrong....

Fantastic experience: There are a lot shady schools and providers out there. Invictus is not one of them. The instructors are real intstructors that have LEO experience as well as time down range. Jenn and Melissa are knowledgeable and helpful as well and know the business front to back. I highly recommend Invictus for business along with training.
