Fantastic experience: When I am wrong, I admit it and I was wrong about Advanced Security! I did call and didn't get a response, but the owner was in the hospital, so I understand. We booked security for 2 consecutive weekends. The officer, Flores, showed up on time, worked the BBQ efficiently, and was kind to everyone who was there. It was a pleasure, to work with such a professional guard. I highly recommend them for all your security needs!

Negative experience: Worked here for a total of one month. Nothing organized nothing set in stone. Just told day of or night before where your going. No one tells you about the job your on. They just order you around like you’re a slave. The pay is whack and they tried to slim my friend out of minimum wage increase that just passed law so he’s leaving next. I now work for a better security company that drug tests their workers and pays way above what these people paid. The joesephs are extremely rude to there employees. I was in the car with one of them and I thought I was going to get killed because of his road rage.

Negative experience: I have never met an owner of a business this unprofessional and childish until today! He should be sitting in jail with his boyfriend right now, instead he gets an easy, pay the fine, domestic disturbance citation. I’m a truck driver and had to make a pick up across the street. I stop in front of his building not blocking either his entrance or exit with my 4 way hazards on because I’m unfamiliar with this business district and see nowhere to safely park without impeding traffic. As soon I set my parking brake (about 30 seconds after stopping) the owner pulls up next to me and tells me “you have to move there’s no parking here, you are blocking my business sign and my customers can’t see it”. There indeed was no parking signs all along that street. I said I’m not parking here, I’m checking in with my customer (his neighbor) and that I will be backing into either the set of docks behind me or in front of me but I won’t know which until I check in which takes less than a few minutes. He kept saying no you have to move now there’s a sign! I don’t have time to deal with Karens, I have work to do, so I got out of my truck and said I’ll move after I check in, if you don’t like it call the cops. He then says well I’m going to block you in. I proceeded to walk across the street to his neighbors entrance to check in. I hear him yell at me “let’s see if you even locked your truck”. As I turn around I see him opening my truck and climbing in. I turned around and walked back towards my truck pulling my phone out so I can record him inside my truck since obviously things are escalating. His boyfriend jumps out of the business owner’s car and slaps my hands to knock my phone to the ground. At this point the owner jumps out of my truck because he sees it’s about to get physical between his boyfriend I. I picked up my phone and luckily the screen wasn’t shattered because it definitely would’ve gotten physical. So they’re both in my trying to surround me as I called them unprofessional children. His boyfriend then said I’ll move it for you and jumped in my truck. I’m yelling at him to get out of my truck as he’s putting it in gear and releasing the brakes, he was try to close the door but I had my arm in and he slammed it on my wrist. The owner must’ve realized I was right about them being childish because he was telling his boyfriend to stop and not to move the truck. I said I would move the truck if they just stopped. So he said fine and got out. I got in my truck, locked my doors, snapped a picture of their plate, and called the police. While I’m waiting for the police to arrive the boyfriend comes up and takes a picture of my company name on door and says I’m reporting you to your company. I said no need you are talking to him. The police arrived and of course go to the Karen business owner first before checking on the guy who was just assaulted. In typical crook county fashion, the business owner only gets a domestic disturbance citation and the boyfriend’s nowhere to be found. The officer gave me a verbal warning about parking and told me to park on the other side of the street if I ever come in that area again. So I’m supposed to park illegally to appease a Karen… When I finally was able to check in, his own neighbors had said they were always jerks to truck drivers and this wasn’t the first time. I just thought anyone thinking about doing business here should be concerned about the owners ethics. Remember, he argued right away that I was blocking his businesses sign before anything happened… but the 2-3 foot tall grass that has probably never been mowed this year obstructing the sign was no problem. Maybe the owner should put down his meter maid badge and pick up a landscaping one!

From first contact the management was understanding and ensured me their response would be timely and professional. They did not disappoint me. They provided excellent staff and supervision to the traffic assistance I required. Their supervision was on point and ensured our needs were meant. In my professional career I have worked with many security companies. None at as competent, professional and responsive as Advance. They were a pleasure to work with and I will hire them again as needed.

Negative experience: They operate like a car dealership. They have hidden fees they don't share until you arrive for work. They promise you the schedule of your choice at a nearby account. When you arrive you are advised of training, travel, and uniform expenses. The ten to fifteen minute commute is now forty five minutes to an hour, which includes a couple of tolls each way. The eight hour shift is now a twelve hour shift. The managers and owner all point the finger at each other when confronted with the deception. I have never seen any business operate this way!

Fantastic experience: I've been a resident of Silver Lake Apartments for 15 years. I have seen many declining changes in this community, to the point that I considered & planned on moving. I had to deal with inconsiderate drunk neighbors blasting music at all hours, broken glass in the parking spaces from thrown beer bottles, gangbangers....all around living nightmares that ruin a decent living environment. UNTIL..... The leaders of the Association decided to implement security measures in the way of hiring Advanced Security Solutions for our property. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I can truly say that THAT, was a real Power Move! This group of dedicated professionals implemented measures that affected such a change in the atmosphere & raised the quality of living to a degree that I dropped my plans on moving. The area is cleaner & free of bottles, junk & low lifes. I don't have that anxious stress anymore. It feels safer, (gangbangers & drunks are gone) I don't worry about glass in my tires. No more noisy uncontrolled parties everywhere. Also, talking to some other residents, I found that they felt the same way, and are very glad to have their presence here among us. CHANGE TRULY HAPPENED.....finally. I'm grateful we have them & I hope we never lose their amazing valuable service, Otherwise, this place will go to waste, And I'll really pack up & go. Anyway, if any of you security officers are reading this, "Much respect & gratefulness from me & my neighbors to you all! Stay AMAZING! "

Fantastic experience: Please read this very carefully and internalize it. Security in general, and Advanced specifically, brings the most value-for-the dollar to any community. There is no comparison between the improvements that their presence causes vs. any other service provider. But after you see the improvements, don't be tempted to stop using them. That would be a blunder. Just budget for them, and make sure they have a consistent presence.
