Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They absolutely are a fraud!!! They will take your money and you will not hear from them again. I read the reviews and thought I'd give them a try. IT was the worst mistake. The women that answers the phone is totally clueless to what's going on! I don't even think they have an actual process server. This company is a scam!!!

Negative experience: I paid the 113.00 for the service wad told 1 week before it was 78.00 don't think they even try to serve my papers more than once very disappointed ibwould not use these people crooks
Jeff, when you initially called the service quote was for routine service but since you waited a week it gave us lesse time under the Colorado rules to complete service which is why you were charged a RUSH fee when we finally received the document and payment. Our server did make the diligent attempts as promised. If you would like to speak to our operations manager further about this please feel free to call James when you have a moment.
Negative experience: Came home to find paperwork in my door served by Roland process servers. Contacted the division of traffic enforcement in Denver to find out what it was about and was told that the Roland process server had stated that they had talked to me in person and delivered the paperwork to me. A blatant lie on their part as I was out of town. I’d recommend against trusting the services of Roland process servers as it would appear they are untrustworthy when it comes to reporting. Keep documentation as, I’m unsure in this case, but I believe that false reporting is a crime in and of itself. Unfortunately, I don’t have cameras on my front door or I would be able to do something about this.
William if you have an issue with the service please follow the procedures that the court system has laid out for improper service. As I stated on the phone to you after you attempted to put a poor review in with the BBB. Again The BBB nor Google is the place to dispute proper service. Our servers are very trustworthy along with our firm. We do understand the frustration of being served can be but please use the proper court channels set forth for this type of issue.

Fantastic experience: Roland Process Service was a dream to find! I called up hoping to get some paperwork served to a P.O. box. Apparently that's not really a thing... The gal I spoke with on the phone could hear the frustration in my voice after listening to me explain all I had was a P.O. box and no real address. That gal was Anthoula and she was amazing to work with from that point forward. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, knowledge, and helped explain how this whole process works. She was able to look up a real address and in no time, get the defendant in my case served. I would without a doubt recommend RPS!!

Negative experience: I have never seen a more unprofessional set of servers. My lawyer Onyejekwe contacted them for an out of state service in Dec 2019, asked for the price and it was paid. Anthoula whom we have been communicating with was given clear instructions on best times to go and what time. They came back to us and told us they had gone 4 times and got no response , so we would have to pay again for them to serve respondent. My lawyer paid a second time , with clear instructions again on when and where to meet the respondent , only for them to come back the second time (after payment has been made again ) saying their server went to serve and got no response. I mean who goes to serve at 4pm when you were clearly told go by 8 am or after 6pm. I am livid because this is money been spent without receiving any value. I will not recommend this company to anyone. They will totally frustrate you. What kind of service do you give to customers, come on!
Amaka, we recently posted the documents as your attorney directed us to this morning. In regards to the certain times for delivery this was never relayed to our office. We would appreciate it if you would reconsider your 1 star review since service has been completed and we were never told to serve said documents at certain times. Negative experience: They sat on my subpoena for a week before they served it. They sent me an email to call them, so I did. It took two people in about 8 minutes for them to find me in their system. I would try to find somebody else to service a subpoena!
Sir/Ma'am Our routine service consists of four attempts with the first attempt within 4-7 days after receipt of request. Since you identity is masked I am not sure how to respond since I do not the specifics. Please feel free to call our operations manager to resolve this issue.
Negative experience: After speaking with the lady whom answered my call, yesterday, and informed her of all the details, I was told a specific price of service, but yet after emailing the company all the info, I was given a much higher price and told something completely different, not even 24 hours later. This is not good business ethics and I definitely do NOT recommend this company.
Tara, our firm quoted you the price for a rush service since your request was to be served on Tuesday 1/21/2020. Due to the holiday and short notice this is considered a RUSH service. Please feel free to contact James Roland if you would still like this service to be completed on a RUSH bases since your hearing is on the 28th we must follow Colorado Rules of Service on the time-frame that service needs to be made to be a valid service.

Negative experience: I paid a premium price for "next day" to have paper's served. They led me to believe that i would also have proof of service the next day also. This was not the case. The courts close in 20 minutes and i have neither proof of service nor an affidavit of service. I would recommend not using this company.
Je, we received your service at 411pm on 8/14/2019 and service was made on 8/15/2019 @ 305pm. This is considered same day since the services was onto a government entity which closes at 430pm. Please reconsider your review since we delivered the service on time and sent you the affidavit of service right after it was served on the 15th.
Fantastic experience: Within a week they had served who i was looking for (8/2019) Update(1/2020): had to have the same person served 3 other times (suing a hit and run driver) and everytime it was served quickly.

Negative experience: The company advertises that it starts at $45 for standard service. When you call and speak to the women she will quote you $65 for standard service. I personally won't use a company that advertises thru deception to get you to call. To answer your reply, no I'm not frequent user. I'm a consumer looking for a process server As a consumer, your advertising leads me to believe charge $45 for standard service.
Mike, as stated on our website **Certain Restrictions Apply**, we do offer services for $45.00 and it is listed on our website as such ** For high volume clients that give us over 100 files per month, or CT Corporation Services** Did you have a service going to the CT Corporation?
Negative experience: Hired RPS to serve someone and gave them known addresses and contact info. They came back after a few weeks and said person was no longer in the city and offered no further pursuit of said person. Went to a different process server and surprise, surprise: the person WAS still in the city, and new process server had them served within the week.
Bailey, I am not sure which service you are speaking about but it is our policy to email a copy of the non service affidavit and ask the client if they would like us to conduct a skip trace done for an additional fee when the initial address comes back as a bad address. Please fee free to contact our Operations Manager James Roland if this was not communicated to you.
Negative experience: I asked Roland to find and serve my ex husband. They charged me $260 for a rush service over state lines and made it seem like it would be easy to find my ex. Seven failed attempts later and I’m out $260. They got the address and thought it would be smart to just randomly show up and hope he answers the door..??? One “attempt” even said “no cars in driveway, no lights on, no answer.” I’m sorry but that does not count as an attempt. I paid $260 for a service that they were unable to complete and they refused to give me a refund. This service is just for lazy people who don’t want to serve a person themselves. Do not use this if you actually need help finding a person. They will nickel and dime you for every service. $500 for a “stakeout” to actually pay attention to when my ex leaves his house. Waste of money. If you must, just use this service to get the address of the person and then find a legitimate company to serve him. Sincerely, Disappointed
Chelsey, as explained in the phone conversation we had back on 11/5/2018 our out of state service of process service included three attempts but at the time of our conversation our server had made four attempts. Since 11/5/2018 our server went back and made another 3 attempts, 7 altogether which is above and beyond our service of process service. We were able to locate the subject and verified that the address located was his. Also as explained a stakeout is a different service and is an additional cost. Again I am sorry that you are upset but our firm did go above an beyond our normal service procedures for you on this case.

Negative experience: What a joke!! Went into office because I needed someone served, Told me he could get it handled and talked real tough. I was happy by the news. Paid him right then and there, less then 24 hours later I get a email informing me he could not find person and he needed more money!!! I feel like they just used me for my money I recommend stongly to use another company!!!!!! I hired you to find mr monjaraz who is on parole and on a denver police regrestry and you couldn't even find him. But i was suposse to pay you more money for a skip trace when a phone call and a internet search would tell u where he is. So you can try to minimize or dismiss my complaint by saying im not in your system as a client but the truth is you have a shady bussiness practice going on there.
Mr Cortez, we are at a bit of a disadvantage since we don't have your name in our system as a client. It would be greatly appreciated if you would include the clients name so we may respond accordingly. From what I am understanding from your post is that you gave us an address to attempt service at and we concluded that the address provided was a bad address. So in essence we completed the service since the person/business was no longer at the given address and informed you that we can run a skip trace for an additional fee if you'd like. Please correct me if I am wrong, but this is what it sounds like.
Negative experience: Terribly unfriendly. Googled notary and they popped up. Called to get something notarized and they acted like I was inconveniencing them and didn’t want my business.
Sir I apologize if you thought we seemed inconvenienced, you called our office 30 minutes prior to our notary leaving on a Friday and you stated you would not be 100% prepared once you do arrive minutes before 5pm, our notary than informed you that the bank is open until 6pm and will do it at no charge instead of the normal $5.00 fee.
Positive experience: I had a difficult situation where someone was deliberately trying to avoid process service, and I thought that hiring this company would help me locate someone. I paid for process service and skip trace. Sadly, skip trace turned up information that is readily available in any online search for half the cost. They did perform the services requested, and did so very quickly, however I did expect that a private investigator might have more resources available to locate the subject than I had. 5 stars for speed of response and process service attempt/communication, but 3 stars for location services 1 star for communication (updated rating, added below paragraph in response to owner comments) . The location service was accurate, but recent move situation was made known at time of purchase of services. If it's known that address change takes 30 to 45 days to pop up, let your clients know before they drop 60 bucks. I would have waited 30 days, then paid for the skip trace had I known that to be the case.

Negative experience: We chose this company based on their great rating, even though they were more expensive than their competitors. We chose incorrectly. It was 80 dollars for 4 attempts, which they did not even complete. They asked for email addresses, but had a complete lack of communication. They made up excuse after excuse on why the information was not relayed and blamed their servers. Furthermore, they only made 2 attempts over the course of 3 weeks at the same exact time frame and expected different results. They were completely incompetent. The only reason they actually attempted 3 times was due to the fact that I complained the very last available service day. They would have taken our money and run if I did not call. They do not care about time frames or their customers. Court is rough as it is and you do not deserve this company to make it worse.
Mr Williams, I am sorry that you were unhappy with the outcome but as I explained in the email to you our server fell deathly ill and was out of contact with us for several days, on the two attempts he made he noted that the home was surrounded by a large fence that was gated and locked with two large guard dogs within the perimeter which he was unable to get to the door due to the barriers set forth. Our firm sent a different server late on the last night since you stated someone should be home, our server reported back the same as the previous server and was unable to see if anyone was home since the property was fenced and locked with the dogs outside. As I stated in my email to you we have no problem re-attempting the service at no cost once you get a court date. Please let us know if we can further assist you in this matter.

I am always wary when I have to hire a process server in another state, because there's really no way to know what kind of service you're going to get - and everybody knows the internet lies. Let me tell you - this company has service of process down to both an art and a science. I was able to pay online, was provided with timely notice of service and a copy of the affidavit, etc. They were responsive to phone calls and emails while I was figuring out how to use their systems, too. He uses a customer "portal" to allow you to see the status of the service as well as obtain documents.
