Negative experience: They said on the phone they could assist me with the fingerprinting I needed for a medical license. Drove all the way out there then said they couldn’t help me. Monumental waste of my time and gas. Very disappointing

Positive experience: I called the Airport this morning to fully understand what Security Company covers the front terminal. They informed me it was DK. After checking the Google Reviews on the Airport there seems to be a pattern of being over zealous and intimidating. I will give props to the Supervisor of DK who happened to be in the office when I called, He was very professional and assured me that he will take care of it. That is the soul purpose this isn't a one star review.

Negative experience: The next event this security team is at, I'm going to walk away and not attend! Moving forward I will no longer suggest this company. While attending the GR Gold game today, I was refused entry because supposedly my purse is too big. Mind you 2 ladies after me walking through and was let in with the same exact purse I had it's just theirs was a YSL brand and my was a Gucci brand. My fiancé walked all the way back to the car just to put away a purse they later tell me I could've brought in the guy instead says he thought he saw a bigger purse while I was outside! So not only did he judge the size of the purse before actually seeing it but he refused entry due to the purse without actually seeing it. Yeah when another security team is hired then I'll attend the game! I wouldn't be complaining if 2 people right behind me who had the same purse wasn't let in. Oh I forgot to mention I had a backpack with me and they let my fiancé bring that in plus his Fanny pack but wouldn't let me put the purse inside the back pack smh! Just as a collective HORRIBLE

Fantastic experience: Not only is DK Security an awesome company to hire, but they are great to work for and with. I have met so many people in my almost year of employment and I highly recommend them. Everyone is nice, helpful, yet very professional .

Negative experience: The previous reviews are shocking to me! What I have observed is completely different. I see DK Security around town from the Van Andel Arena to the Airport, Fredrick Meijer Gardens, and even special events. In general, I am less than impressed with the customer facing appeal. Their trench working staff tend to have an immature dictatorial type of approach when working with the public that does seem to alienate most individuals. Their faded yellow shirts and blue military fatigues don’t scream safety, but really communicate how little DK Security really cares. My recommendation is to consider creating your own security division that is internal to your company or organization. That way you can control the culture with your own staff that are working under your own policies. It is not really that hard or necessarily more costly. There is an abundance of officers that are burned out with the odd hours of patrol work. Imagine how proud you could be as leader that develops not just a security program but expands your public connection with professionalism by not leaving it up to this less than par third party. Anyways, my two cents supporting my two-star review of DK Security.

Negative experience: Encountered a gentleman who works for D K Security at the Secretary of State office in Kalamazoo on Stadium Dr. While I understand that office was handling the work of another office due to an emergency, there was no reason for him to be rude. When people would walk up to the area to get checked in (which was outside in the sun). He would yellbat then, "do you have an appointment" and then very sternly would say "get up here" to ask questions about their appointment. Everyone was asked to repeatedly to state their name, both first and last very loudly. (HIPPA) A simple please and thank you goes a long way with customer service.

Negative experience: We hired Dk to remove people from our meeting who get out of hand and make them leave. I asked for someone who would actually escort the person who was getting out of hand. Many disturbances happened and nothing I asked for from DK happened. They did more communicating with the people getting out of hand and tolerated their actions instead of making them leave like we hired them to do. And because of that someone almost got assaulted. I would never use DK again.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. They do not follow state or federal laws, they do as they please. Don't expect them to be in business in a year. They obviously never heard of a Title VII violation, when refusing to hire individuals with a felony; disparate treatment or disparate impact.

Positive experience: It had a very professional feel and the website was easy too navigate, after you figure it out cause not all websites are the same.

Negative experience: One of the worse security companies in the US. Security guards don't seem to understand the difference between a law or a rule. I would never hire them because they are not doing their job. They seem to be afraid to enforce any rules or laws on the property they claim to protect. They need to put their names on their uniforms.

Fantastic experience: I went in for fingerprinting. Making an appointment online is easy, and plenty of times were available. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was done in 15 minutes. Service was efficient.
