Positive experience: Although they were able to get some information. Not what I was hoping for but can't blame them because found out in the last 2 weeks they weren't in the area during this time. My son has been missing for 2 weeks and foul play suspected. Called on 10/13 and 10/14 never called back. Would have thought I'd at least get a call back after working the case. That hurts.

Negative experience: To stay professional I will say that the locate service provided by the business left much to be desired. The investigation was not tailored to the information I provided but rather followed a script of basic open source information gathering. In the end I was charged the minimum fee and told the person I was trying to locate could possibly be a COVID "John Doe" in another state. Besides this comment being unprofessional, and a horrific thing to say to someone looking for a loved one, this business seems to trickle information to the client and fearmongers to make as much money as possible. In the end, I regret using the business however, I personally was able to locate the person I was looking for in a couple of days. My family member could have been found even faster if this business used the information they were given by me, the client. Disappointed.

In my mind, I thought I didn’t give him very much to go on and honestly wasn’t expecting him to find anything. 48 hours later he said he was on the trail and thought he had found the person. Five days from when I had sent him the information, he sent a very thorough report with the findings on the individual. I’m so impressed! He was professional and responsive. He could have easily taken advantage of my emotions and said he needed to perform all kinds of services, but instead he told me not to spend my money. Fantastic experience: I have never utilized the services of a private investigator before so I did not know what to expect when I contacted Atwell Investigations, but I was pleasantly surprised. I work for a hospice in Phoenix and we have a patient who is very close to dying and we had no contact information on file for the next of kin. We only had family member’s first names and possible cities where they lived. I got Atwell’s contact info from a google search, bypassing all the paid advertiser’s listings. Initially I called and there was no answer but immediately I received a text from Jax, who might be the owner, asking what he could do for me. I gave him what info I had, texting back and forth a few times, and within an hour or so, I had the information I needed to contact my patient’s family.
