Fantastic experience: What can I say about Jeff & his team. I will start by saying working with Jeff in my divorce case lifted a HUGE weight off my shoulders. Not only did he work my case, but also gave me great recommendations & legal advice. On our initial phone meeting, we spoke in detail about everything down to the smallest details. I am a person who likes order & needs to know how things are working together…He ensured me he would do everything in his power to get the evidence I needed to win my case. Negative experience: - I contacted Mr. Means about doing a background check - He sent me data that looked ambiguous - One email contained codes, symbols, and abbreviations - Another email looked like hundreds of random names - I asked if he would review the data with me - He stated he would not - In a text, he wrote… “you are very difficult” - He later apologized and stated... “I don’t usually deal with clients that way” - He then sent me a “cancellation” message - I didn't have a good experience with Sound Mind Investigations

Fantastic experience: I got a lot of advice from my investigator, Jeff Means, he kept me informed of situations as he discovered them. There was a direct line of communication between Jeff and my lawyer, Bill Hall, so as things were discovered I learned about how those discoveries might be used in court very quickly, and sometimes learning one thing would lead to more questions than answers, and we all worked to figure it all out. My paticular case has been complicated, and hiring the investigator has been such a tremendous help to my lawyer and the case overall. I am very confident that in the court room my lawyer will have every possible angle covered. Jeff Means and Bill Hall make an awesome combination. Their shared knowledge working together, has been very illuminating as this is my first time dealing with anything this deeply involved with legal matters. Jeff and Bill were free to communicate with eachother, and both knew that their expenses for their services would be covered. So if my lawyer had an idea I didn't think of, he could have my investigator check it out and get him the information regarding those situations, without delay, they didn't have to wait on any additional approval from me. I made it clear that I was just in need of their help. This has helped everything run smooth and efficient. I did ask a lot of questions at first and kind of tried to get too involved, but after actually witnessing Bills work, with all the tools that Jeff provided, I am impressed. Negative experience: Took my money. Gave me an address already listed online. Told me i had to locate paperwork to serve the individual. Was talking like he'd be able to get it. Still didn't verify proof of address. Every address he gave was already listed online. I basically did all the work. Requested a refund. He denied it. Came to no common ground. Didn't even offer half of the $250 back. That price was supposed to get an address along with proof. As well serve papers. I ask a few questions, communicating back and forth trying to make sure i understood. After i cash app the cash a few months ago. Still no results. Will upload screenshots and leave the rest up to the universe. Because maybe i'm overreacting.

Fantastic experience: My name is Dave Thomas, and I am Lee's father. I'm using his phone to enter this review as mine is currently sick. I recently hired Jeff and his crew to locate an individual in order to determine the viability of filing a lawsuit against him. I was cautiously optimistic of the result, as this was an individual who did not want to be found. Although retired now, I practiced law for almost 20 years, and as a result, I was aware of the difficulty of the task at hand. I was missing the investigator I used for the last 15 yrs of my law practice. However, Jeff accomplished the job in only a matter of days, and also checked the guy's assets as well!!
