Negative experience: I do not recommend!!!! Called about finding a person for a small claims investation. He tried to talk me out of it. Said it would be a waste of time. Then relucantly said ok. Told me his fee. I thought I didn't hear it correctly so I repeated to him what I thought it was but at a higher amount. He responsed rudely, and when I said I was asking a genuine question about the rate, he said "I don't care. Have a good day." He then rudely hung up. I don't know why he treated me this way. I chose to call him because of the reviews. That's why I'm adding my 1 star review in order to correct the record that his company is not a 5 star company.
Lil M. You are exactly why EVERYONE hates dealing with the public. You are clearly in a mood and your taking it out on my business. All I did was caution you and tell you the truth. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are looking for a deadbeat flooring contractor person that you know you shouldn't have hired in the first place. I say this and per your words "He worked very hard at not having company information on his invoices." I told you that I don't recommend searching for contractors when it comes to small claims unless you know they are local and own property. I then quoted you 300 dollars and you said you'd take it to your grandmother. You than needed clarification that it wasn't 300K Vs. 300 dollars. I didn't feel your lame joke deserved a response. You demanded clarification and I told you, this isn't funny and then you hung up.

Negative experience: Very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Ken. Called him to discuss a small job for a client where he said he would go on-site. Paid up front as requested that day, then for a few days I got no response as to what the next steps would be. Then he emailed me 5 days later telling me for a "small job" like this he is not going to take calls or emails. He simply provided a Google search with info I easily found online and that would be all he would do, and that he can refund me the difference. Said to send him an address to refund the difference, and four months later still nothing. When I asked he said "I'm busy and didn't get it out" - this was FOUR MONTHS LATER. Would only refund if I can provide a Zelle cause writing a check was too much (although that's what he asked for). Just I asked him to confirm he responded "ASK YOUR CLIENT". Really one of the most unprofessional people/company I have ever worked with.
I feel compelled to share my experience with Aasheesh, as it was unfortunately less than satisfactory. Initially, I accepted the job due to its local nature. However, after a few brief email exchanges, it became apparent that there were significant communication challenges;. Due to these issues, I decided to cancel the job and offered to refund the difference. I promptly communicated this via email. Aasheesh mentioned Google searches in his review, which were conducted during our initial phone conversation. However, he did not seem receptive to the insights that I gave him from other proprietary searches, which were crucial to the task at hand. There was a considerable delay in receiving his Zelle information, which took four months. Once I had the necessary details, the refund was processed within an hour. This situation reflects a misunderstanding and a breakdown in communication. I retained the new file fee, as is standard practice, and refunded the remainder. This review highlights the importance of clear professional communication and understanding in professional engagements.

Negative experience: Rude unpleasant person
Matthew. You call mid morning on a Sunday where we’re supposed to get 12” of rain over the next 12hrs and you rambled on about stories of your dad being a nomad who’s chasing the Grateful Dead. I had to cut you off and get you to the facts; he’s a nomad with no communication who’s possibly in Venice Beach or San Bernardino. (This area your father could be in Is literally the state of California wide; the beach to Nevada!) I simply told you we can not help you. So I don’t understand how that’s rude. You said others (assuming other PI’s who are glad to take your money!) could help and I wished you the best of luck. If that’s rude, I feel for you.
Fantastic experience: At a critical moment in a recent case affecting one of our family members, when another PI we had hired to investigate the incident was not working out, I googled “best PI in LA” and saw, Paramount Investigative Services owner, Ken Child’s, outstanding ratings and glowing reviews. I then called and heard Ken’s balanced, thoughtful perspective on our situation and next thing we were in. I immediately emailed Ken video materials we had collected ourselves regarding the incident-and Ken began the processes of dissecting the video and tracking the multiple witnesses who were present. With those who were willing he gathered statements. Often times throughout this process it felt like Ken and I were one mind.The level of communication and transparency Ken offered from the start gave us so much faith that justice would prevail. Yesterday, it did - in large part to Ken’s resourcefulness, diligence, thoughtful demeanor, determination and alway kind hearted way of helping our family cope with this very stressful situation. I contacted Paramount to ask for their help in finding him while I made my way to Los Angeles. The investigators quickly patrolled downtown. By the time I made it to the city, several hours had passed and still no luck but, the investigators did not give up and encouraged me to not lose hope. We. knew we were close and after a few more hours they found him at a cafe. If it wasn't for the Paramount team Im not sure if I would have seen my brother again.......
