Fantastic experience: Urban Spy is a 5-STAR team and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I hired Urban Spy to perform surveillance, recently when had serious fears that the person I have a restraining order against was stalking me in the wee hours of the night/morning. Jason promptly returned my phone call and took time to listen to my situation without being dismissive, inconsiderate, or judgmental like some other places. In just a couple of days, he and his partner coordinated very professional overnight surveillance and provided a write up directly afterwards detailing exactly how the time was spent and what was observed with photo evidence, which ultimately resolved my issue. They worked with me on the timing to ensure they had the best chance of getting results and were extremely flexible and considerate of my limited budget. By the time I found this team, I had already exhausted hundreds of dollars and almost 2 months by dealing with security firms and PIs (owned and operated by former police officers) who flat out lied to me, filled me with fear and desperation, and NEVER delivered the services they promised. They made a living nightmare even worse! I was incredibly frustrated and I felt hopeless. It was terrifying, especially that there's a restraining order and a clear threat looming. Through my tears, I decided to do one more google search and I made one more phone call. That call was to Urban Spy. This team was the first and the only company to treat me with respect and empathy and to deliver what they said they would. It's a shame that there are so many shady scammers out there giving the PI industry a bad name. You would think that you could trust someone who swore to protect the public to do what they say -- especially when you pay them and do as they dictate. Nope, sorry. Fantastic experience: I first contacted Urban Spy to undertake a very difficult and delicate surveillance related to my wife's activities during my frequent and extended absences for business. I contemplated hiring a private investigator for months and scoured the web for a company to hire, reading every review and source of information I could find to ensure I was making the right choice for such an important decision. Making the first call to Urban Spy was extremely difficult, but after the first conversation I knew I had made the right choice. It was both difficult and embarrassing to reveal in words thoughts that had been kept private for months but Jason listened to my whole story and was very patient as I presented the 'evidence' that had created my suspicions. He gave frank and unvarnished opinions, challenging some details and offering cogent observations on others. The net of the conversation was that he believed the situation warranted preliminary surveillance to determine if more observation was appropriate. During the follow on investigation, I found the Urban Spy results to be outstanding. Utilizing investigative methods that were both traditional and creative, they were able to provide a comprehensive account of their results that were always informative and focused. Frequently going 'above and beyond' to get results, I found their communication to be excellent, the professionalism outstanding, and the sensitivity to my situation superb. Negative experience: I was pre judged from the start. I was promise services completed by 1 jun but there was absolutely no info provided , Jason called me one time with info I already had . I had to contact him to get any information . He returned my calls or text hours and days later. I have phone records to show .I had to Initiate contact. Jason was argumentative and accusative with me when I was the Clint ,he was employed by me. It wasn’t until 11jul A month and a half later , Jason finally sent a few pictures of 1/2 Day of Surveillance, after I ask for my money back ,due to lack of info provided of the so call hours he worked on my case . . It was very poor and unprofessional service. Jason took my money and gave me a bunch of lip service in return . Urban spy showed no proof of what my money was used for except for a 1/2 day of surveillance. I am very unsatisfied and disappointed in Urban Spy . I Will never recommend or use this service again . It’s unfortunate because it was reviews why I decided on Urban Spy ,but like I said Jason prejudged me from the beginning . I was not his priority client . Very poor service. To say the lease Urban spy did not amount up to its reviews with me .
