Negative experience: No detail or follow up. Presented a good story but, nothing waste of money.

Fantastic experience: We used Matt and his team during a harsh custody battle, he was kind, fair, very dedicated to our cause. I could tell he genuinely cared about my children’s well being. Highly recommend for any PI needs!

Fantastic experience: MS Recoveries is absolutely amazing! They helped me solve my issue and it was quick as hell. I was actually jaw dropped at how fast they were able to locate the precise information I was looking for! Like almost immediately, I'm still stunned. LOOK NO FURTHER. This is the business you want to hire. Worth every single penny.

Positive experience: I hired Matt to find an address to have a person served. Apparently I slipped though the cracks. I texted and left phone messages without a response. As soon as they realized I had slipped though the cracks they did everything they could to make things right. I am now satisfied with their service and I have edited my negative review to reflect that. Unfortunately it took leaving a negative review for them to notice. As I said above, there was no response to texts and phone messages. I don't want to recommend leaving a negative review, but they seem to watch their reviews pretty closely. If you also slip though the cracks that one way to help them find you quickly, as phone calls and texts may not. I don't like that I am leaving a four star review. I would like to leave a 5 star review because they tried so hard to make things right but I feel a 5 star review would be dishonest because things happened that should not have. I also dislike recommending leaving a negative review, but again, I must be honest. To Matt and his team, please find a way to stop people from slipping through the cracks. They should not have to leave a negative review before you notice something is amiss.

Fantastic experience: You won't find a better place. They take due diligence to a whole new level. Very impressed with the level of work and dedication that they put in. It's a lot more affordable than you think, and you get more than what you pay for!!

Negative experience: This place is a scam, the fake private investigation stole my $50 money at 2 different times, pretending to serve a gentlemen at a gas station, when come to find out he was in jail at the time and couldn't have been served. This place scams people and does not make good business, they steal your money.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the most professional investigations and recoveries business I have worked with to date. I will continue to tell every business whom needs their services to use them. Not only did they do their specific job I had hired them on for, they were there for our dealership after. They also offered a hand in helping us after the fact. I was hesitant to use their services because I didn't know if it would be too small of a job and not worth their efforts. They made me feel as if I was a priority. This never happens! Their documentation was submitted promptly and they asked what else they could do for me after the job was done. Wow, I am seriously impressed. Thank you MS Recoveries, you made a small business owner's life a little bit easier.

Fantastic experience: I hired them to serve an individual who was trying not to be found. Not only did they get him served but I got video evidence of the entire encounter. I wish I would have hired them the first time we needed a process server - These guys are professional and they get the job done. Within 24 hours of contacting them he was found and served. Fantastic experience: I am very greatful for everything these people did for me. I was confused and naive as to where I needed to go and how to handle my case. After my first phone call, I knew it was the right decision to make. Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment to meet in person and discuss the case and the day of appointment right when I was about to start driving, I received a text message from "Matthew" stating that he cannot make it to the appointment today so I said, no problem, let's make another appointment that works best for you, we scheduled the second appointment and because of that I scheduled a time off from work and drove for 45 minutes only to find out that his office is closed (YES, at the time of our appointment - SECOND time) so, I tried calling the office/Matthew a few times, no response, left a voicemail, sent him a text message and waited for 30 minutes for him but he never showed up nor he ever responded even after two days of our scheduled appointment. I regret my decision of reaching out to this office, it was such a ridiculous waste of my time. If you are considering a private investigator, it would be to your best interest to find another office. Ken, It is interesting that you are contacting us right after I left this post and sent a copy of my review to BBB and Yelp. The appointments were under my friend's name Eddie H as I was coming with him (Wednesday Oct 23 at 9:30 am and Friday Oct 25 also at 9:30 am - look your calendar/schedules and should you try again to deny knowing about these two appointments, I will upload a copy of your confirmation email to this post). My friend Eddie just called me because apparently you sent him a long text message mentioning your excuses for missing our appointments. I try my best to be a reasonable person and I understand things in life can happen and that's why I did not react the first time you missed our appointment. It would have only took you a few seconds to call or send us a quick text message notifying us that you will miss the appointment again but you didn't do that and at this point, it appears you responded with your excuses only after I left these reviews. I live in Nampa and it's a 45 mins driving to your office (that's an hour and half - two ways), not to mention that I missed time at work too because of nothing! Just like anyone else I have wasted some times before but not only this was a very unprofessional experience, it was a ridiculous version of wasting of our times. Professionalism is not just about being proficient in your field, if you were indeed serious about your potential clients, it is your duty to be responsive at least and communicate with your customers. Anyways, because you missed the second chance, I went with a different office so, at this point I can only accept your apology if you promise this indeed will NOT happen again to anyone else in the future because frankly, an apology without change is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Great and friendly staff willing to go the mile with you. After making a few calls to other businesses, I found Matt willing to go the mile for me. Even though there is a one star on this company, I gave them a shot and am not disappointed. Long story short, When I needed to know if someone was around Boise and get them served these folks stepped up to the plate. Not only was I able to obtain information on the whereabouts, but They also provided a service to ensure that my court papers got to them. A one stop shop is how i would describe MS Recoveries & Investigations and I will most likely be using them to continue my case. If you need someone reliable and forthcoming then these guys are for you.

Fantastic experience: I had to have someone served and had called four other local process servers (some twice) and still not ONE phone call was returned. Called MS Recoveries and on the second ring there was another human being actually answering! Matt was pleasant, knowledgeable and very accommodating. His employee was able to get a hold of the person being served, the FIRST time, and within an hour or two of my visit. A stellar guy and service I will definitely refer and use again.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I can't say enough great things about these guys service! If your looking for any help recovering your property don't go anywhere else but here! Outstanding pricing along with the quickest service you will get no where else. We asked for help for recovering a vehicle and paying the little bit more for them to get started the same day was the best plan. They got the vehicle back in less than 2 hours before it could be hidden for good. Very knowledgeable and will give you straightforward answers to your questions, nothing fake! Again come here first you won't regret it!
