Fantastic experience: I am writing to share my experience and feedback regarding the courtesy officer services provided by MPS. Officer Horton has been an invaluable asset to our community and has consistently shown professionalism, punctuality, dedication and attentiveness have made a significant impact. For instance, they quickly responded to a recent noise complaint and ensured the issue was resolved calmly and efficiently. I am very pleased with the quality of service provided. I highly recommend MPS to any property looking for reliable courtesy officers. I also appreciate the strong communication between your team and management. Whenever an issue arises, the officers are quick to report it, allowing me to address concerns proactively. This seamless collaboration helps ensure the community runs smoothly.

Negative experience: I haven't personally encountered any of these people and I really don't want to cause ain't nothing in my lease saying that my curfew is 10pm and I'm not going to let a bunch of wannabe cops tell me I have one but I have asked my neighbors and a few of them stated they have encounter them and it was around 8pm to 8:30 when they came around on foot and told everyone to get in the house. I'm letting it been known if I am sitting on my porch minding my business I will continue to sit there I'm a 40 years old woman that works 2 jobs yall not telling me to get in no house I go in when I feel like it. But I won't be staying in the bx5 apartments for too long cause I will not let nobody boss me around or my son bad enough the new management can't even do there job but now had the nerve to hire yall to tell grown people when to go in the house yeah not going to happen.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best companies any apartment community can have. They have the best customer service, quick response and they get the job done. They are knowledgeable of city and state ordinances when it come to apartment communities. This is the best company for any security needs 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Many of the patrol staff are simply just power tripping. Are more interested in disrupting groups of people causing no disturbance or breaking no posted rules, instead of doing their job and trying to keep actual crime down. Several of them obviously act in such a manner to provoke a rise out of people so they can report you to whoever hired them

Fantastic experience: Me and my girlfriend were stopped in the parking lot by one of your officers and although I wasn’t happy about him speaking to us at first, the officer remained completely professional and actually took the time to address my frustrations. Even after he left he offered the contact information for his supervisor LT Linn. When I emailed him he reached out and he was extremely respectful and knowledgeable in helping me understand why the officers make the contacts that they do. I’m glad I have Marshal Protective Services at my community.

Fantastic experience: As a police officer who interacts with security companies frequently, enough cannot be said about the acumen and professional service they bring to the table. Not only is Marshal a proactive security company, they also provide my department with critical intel which allows us to make arrests, trespass vagrants and similarly, clean up properties reducing our call load. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: We share a drive with a property they patrol. A patrolling guard, stopped his vehicle blocking me from entering our business. After he put his vehicle in park, refusing to move, I got out of my vehicle to ask him what was going on. He yelled, "Step Back Away From The Vehicle "... as he reached for something. Unprofessional Confrontational In response: This incident occurred the late night/early am of September 20th. Several attempts were made to contact MPS, no response. An Email to the only contact found on the company's website,was returned/rejected . Both businesses (property management) were copied in on the event. The security firm for my employer, witnessed the incident.

Negative experience: Staff feels as if they DPD...and wants to control people and their lives..and realize they are placed to observe and report..QUIT HARRASSING PEOPLE..

Negative experience: This company uses suspiciously vague uniforms and vehicles that make them look nearly identical to law enforcement. They are borderline police impersonators and are obviously aware of how far they can legally go in terms of their appearance. Terrible public relations policies. Looking to be as intimidating as possible.

Positive experience: this is my second review of this private security company. The owner has contacted me. He has made me reexamine my review. I still think that the name Marshall protective service can easily cause any normal man or woman to believe they are city marshal's such as the Dallas City Marshall's office. I think it should clearly say private security service on the car and uniform. I have worked law enforcement and private security in Texas and i am now a retired chief of police out of Florida with 40 years service. I have had several people in Dallas, Garland and the DFW metroplex call me...Hey Chief are these guys police or security guards ?? I said i don't know by the photos of their cars and uniforms its difficult to know. If me being very well in knowledge of of police vs security and i could not tell, how can you expect a private citizen...thus a false belief can be assumed very easy. I know DPS approves the name, uniforms and other aspects of private security in Texas. However it does not stop civilian misconceptions just as the people who call me did not know. I have gotten more than a dozen calls and other contacts over this issue. I can see a lot of bad things happening. Such as but not limited to. A man woman or child thinking they are police and acting toward them as police vs. security. Case in point if a security guard says you must not leave we're conducting and investigation or similar the citizen must remain as detained and/or arrested, while if it is a security guard they are free to leave. another possibility is that someone who hates cops could see them as a target and attack the security guard. Just because Texas DPS approved it don't make it right or good sense. I still believe in works opposite the Public Trust. With that being said i could not and would not hire them due to the confusion. Unless they made their officers wear a plainly viable patch on the front of their shirts that said security and such on the side doors of their patrol cars. I have no first hand knowledge of this company ever doing anything wrong. The video encounter i seen was from various cameras, and some posted private for me to see. I have seen at least 5 different versions. Although the officer did not act out, he certainly should have acted differently. I would council him on proper civilian contact as well as public photography. Even the police act in poor while legal dialogue concerning public photography. I have dealt with such encounters and taught my officers how to engage and defuse the alarm and build good P.R. within the communities we serve. I am now working with law enforcement agencies across the country to assist them in this area as well as court rulings in Texas and other states and the u.s. supreme court opinions and orders I would be quite happy to share this with the owner to help his security agency to be better in such encounters and how to quickly defuse the situation even when the subject is poking the bear so to speak and make your guys look like a million. Positive experience: I would say that they would rate a average C based on my review. Not great and not bad. I most likely would have gave them a B except. I found out some disturbing news. I seen one of their officers refuse to say if they were Texas Law Enforcement.... really!!! That question should have been answered immediately. If the way they dress, the company name, etc makes you question if they are security guards or police is alarming to me. Just my opinion.

Negative experience: This is no more Then a bunch of individuals Who could not go on to the real police department and now Wearing costumes To mislead the public. You need to ask yourself do you really want them representing you. Why could they not Have the education The proper training to be in law enforcement with a city agency They are a bunch of losers unintelligent group and the Individuals. Perpetrators!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I just want to take a moment and thank these wonderful officers for always being so courteous and helpful. They make sure to go above and beyond when a resident needs help. They are not always seen but I like that about them because that's how they keep us safe. Thank you for keeping my community safe

Negative experience: What a joke hired to patrol at Silver Gardens Apts and was seen at my vehicle making a phone call 20 min before it was stolen. Company has refused to cooperate with inquiry about what happened saying talk to property management. Draw your own conclusions...

Negative experience: Most of these reviews on this company is fake. These guys are wannabe cops who either couldn't pass the background, psych, or didn't have enough education and/or honorable military time to make the cut. I believe they get paid in between $13-$14 an hour. I've witnessed these guys attempt to illegally enter an apartment after hours and have also overheard of them tell a resident that he basically wasn't right in the head, yet they deem these type of people ok to walk around with a gun and with a flashy uniform like they are actual police officers. Don't let their uniform fool you, they are nothing more but security who have no say so in real police matters. The most they can do is call 911 like the rest of us. Racist is an understatement, and obviously by my name, I am of hispanic descent and I have been profiled by these guys numerous times while on my way to work in the morning and also at night. One of them asked me for my ID and when I refused to give it to them because they are not real police, the guy was really aggressive towards me. I walked away, but it did not stop him from following me. They allow dope dealers to smoke and run around here rampant and don't do a thing about it. If one of them comes to your door, just don't answer it. They are nothing more then security guards who went through DPS for a guard card, and damn near anyone can get one of those! What kind of security officer jiggles door handles when no one is obviously at home? What kind of security officer asks someone for their immigration papers and/or green card? What kind of security officer says the N word to his buddy on the phone when he thinks no one is around? These are just a few of things I have overheard and seen from these guys. Don't trust them and any apartment complex that hires this sham company is one that should not be trusted either.

Fantastic experience: Marshall Protective Services have done an excellent job making the properties that I oversee a cleaner and more productive communities. Of course we have had push back from residents that weren't following the rules, but the continuous service that Marshall provided in not just securing our property, but learning who our Residents were and making them feel more secure. I wouldn't use any other security company, other than Marshall.

Fantastic experience: Absolute best security team in town! My community has seen an absolute turn around since we began our contract with Marshal Protective Services back in February. The officers are always courteous, and provide excellent reporting and documentation of all encounters. Would definitely recommend to any property management company looking to clean up your community!

Negative experience: We have called Marshal Protective Services after hours three times within the last 30 days to complain about noise violations one one apartment and the man answering the phone is extremely rude and short. Always says he'll dispatch an officer out, but we never have seen any show up. I for one do not feel any safer with them "patrolling" our apartment complex.

Negative experience: Either they hire racist employees, or they train their employees to racially profile people. I was in one of the properties they patrol and the security guard on duty decided to follow/tail me from his property all the way to the highway. I pull d over to the side and got out of my vehicle to ask him what he wanted or why he was tailing me, he had the windows rolled up and was on the phone with 911. Mind you this was over a mile away from his duty post. He didn’t respond so I got in my car and continued on the highway, he followed me about half a mile and I decided to speed off in my 2013 Dodge Charger that I bought from a dealer who previously purchased it from the police. I called his supervisors to report the situation but he was more defensive of his employee than listening to my complaint. This country is already under a lot of racial tension but for it to happen blatantly without any reason just for the fact he was trying to impose some kind of law he had no right to on me and later get me in trouble. Something will be done, I don’t care how much I have to pay my lawyer, if that employee is not fired then dps will be alerted. Don’t trust this company. Please I would love to review that camera footage, since you’re blindly defending your employee. Let’s review that tape and show where your employee was not tailing me.
