Fantastic experience: I found Dwayne when I was desperately looking for help after being criminally charged. L was facing some serious time in a county that still abides by the good old boy system. Long story short my phone had been hacked and the information used against me resulting in my arrest. Dwayne got the information I needed on more than one level. He also steered me in the right direction with some very good advice. After nearly 4 long years my case has been dismissed with prejudice. I am already sleeping better at night. Fantastic experience: I have a photography company and I had an external hard drive go bad. I checked a few companies locally about price and how they handle the process. I didn't feel comfortable with leaving the hard drive with them, knowing they were going to ship it out and rely on different parties for retrieval and no idea of price. Fantastic experience: The Data Specialist Group is amazing! My usb storage drive was broken yesterday by a simple bump. I spent the evening paralyzed, hopeless, and miserable that my data was loss. Negative experience: First of all, Dwayne, the owner of Data Specialist Group is aware that I was going to make this a one-star review, because honestly who reads 5-star reviews these days?? However, this company is 5-star worthy and I would definitely recommend. Dwayne was knowledgeable, was able to recover all my data, and performed the work extremely fast (same-day turnaround for one of my drives). In addition, he was incredibly friendly and professional. He is at the top of his field and my lowly hard drive recoveries were probably cake for him. I had two defective hard drives, an older external hard drive and a flash drive, neither of which were properly backed up (hard lesson to learn). My wedding pictures were on the flash drive which was given to me by my wedding photographer in a fancy wooden casing, and looked in mint condition so I never expected it to stop working, at least not for a long time. The older external hard drive did require more labor but only took maybe 2 or 3 days, and my data on that drive was also completely recovered. I am extremely grateful to Dwayne, and would highly recommend his services for data recovery.

Positive experience: I would highly recommed!!! One of my external hard drives unexpectedly stopped working and I was not able to access several of my wedding pictures plus other important data. The pictures were from past completed work but they were still important to me. The folks at Data Specialist were able to recover all the files. They did a great job!
