Fantastic experience: Compass Investigations was there for my legal aid firm, helping us serve a group of lawsuits on the corporations we are fighting to get justice for disaster survivors. They gave us an affordable rate, even on a legal aid budget, and served all documents promptly. we would use Compass again if we needed to serve someone in the South Florida area.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough words to show how grateful I am to John Van Steenkiste of Compass Investigations. Years ago, I almost lost my daughter, after research we found Compass investigations and the first phone call made was answered in detail by John’s bilingual secretary who is always so kind, caring and professional. It was John of Compass investigation who came to the rescue in the court room providing the proof I needed to show the accusations against me where completely un-true. Not only did he get the proof needed but also recommended me with the best attorney who gave me my life back, my daughter. Sadly, that amazing attorney, and human being Greg A. Lewen passed. For years I was stuck in search of someone who would continue the case Greg had started but I’ll I did was waste time and a lot of money. It wasn’t until I went back to John and explain the complex of my still open case, that he once again not only heard me but without any interest or charge, once again advise me on what attorney to hire and it was his great advise base on his experience of working with so many attorneys all of these years that finally got me to the right attorney whom gave us victory in court ,and at last closed our case. Fantastic experience: I want to share a recent experience I had with a Private Investigator out of Hebron, KY. Why would I/you need a PI? You might be surprised! Not everything she does is based on criminal activity; nor does it need to be a "colossal investigation." Recently, I struggled with confirming some genealogy history. Genealogy is definitely not my area of expertise. I admire the people who have the interest and knowledge. Lory gave me the security of a professsional confirming and bringing an end to my long journey. I had gone as far as my skill level would permit. Professionally, I have worked with numerous PIs throughtout my career; and on many levels. Most were experienced but did not possess the "human touch.” Whether I hire you professionally or personally, communication is essential. LORY SINGLETON, PI is the epitome of integrity, compassion and expertise. She gave me constant updates, suggestions and feedback. She was efficient and did not prolong the pursuit for my results to feed her financial gain. As you may surmise, it was definitely a great experience! I wish she were on my "family tree." Fantastic experience: Super fast, professional, and friendly customer care

Negative experience: Compass and its owner John VanSteenkiste strung my law office along for weeks about 4-6 jobs that they ultimately just never did (some were simple skip traces, others service of process, and constructive service). I worked with their predecessor for years prior to Compass taking over, and it has been a disaster ever since. Usually when the owner calls you personally to insist that you will get updates within a week, you get some response. Not with these guys. Totally incompetent. Stay far away.

Negative experience: I engaged Compass Investigations to do a search for a tenant who skipped town. I had excellent communications with their offices, but they did not provide the requested services within the time frame promised. Communication after payment was not optimal. I was able to obtain a full refund through my credit card.
