Fantastic experience: Darryl was fantastic to work with! I had an order of protection that I had been trying to get served for over a week, but the respondent was clearly avoiding service. I reached out to Darryl with only about 18 hours left until the deadline. He made an attempt a few hours later, but sure enough the respondent avoided service again. He called me and walked through our options, and he came up with a plan that would also limit my expenses if we needed to conduct surveillance. He was able to get the order of protection served with hours to spare! I can't recommend Darryl and A-1 highly enough. I had reached out to several others given the short timeframe but I knew within the first few minutes of talking to Darryl that he would be able to take care of it. Great service, great communication, truly a professional and an expert.

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE. Taking the professional, out of PI. Darryl will not follow up with me, answer my questions, or do any of the actual investigating work. I have asked for a follow up 8 times, with no response at all. Save your time, and $, go with someone more reputable than Darryl at A-1 detective agency. If no star was an option, I would have given Darryl and A-1 zero stars. Everything that Darryl told me he could do, he proved he could not do. False advertising, poor customer service, no follow up. When they need there $, A-1 emails you everyday until you pay them, for absolute horrible service. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

After years of searching with no luck, paying for database searches and everything else, I finally decided to hire a PI to find my mom that left when I was 4. Negative experience: I took a chance on this guy after reading his one review . It. appeared he was decent , however after his smooth talking to get my $1,400.00. he went missing in action . He's a lier , a thief and a schemer. Lucky I was charged the $1,400.00on my credit card and Dispute . STAY AWAY FROM A -1 DETECTIVE ,THE OWNER , MR. ELLIS IS NOTHING BUT A LIER !!
