Fantastic experience: Ancillary provides an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Their staff is informative, responsive, and polite. Their fees are detailed. Ancillary has a client dashboard that keeps you updated throughout the process and allows you to provide them with information. Their fees are below the average standard rate, but their service is above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: I contacted this company after hiring a different private server to deliver a TPO. That original server found my respondent no longer lived at the address I had for him. After doing a simple Google search, I found the respondent most likely lived in a different county, so I Googled and found Ancillary Legal. Contrary to the previous multiple private servers I had called, this company was not a one-man operation. I was connected initially with what I assume was a receptionist, who answered my questions and gave me the email address to request service. I emailed that same day, requesting expedited service as the court date was only a week away. The person who responded immediately informed me that the first attempt would be the next day. I received an email that the first attempt was made around 8am. They could not serve, so they tried again the next day in the evening and were successful. That was fantastic, but even better, they responded to all of my questions within an hour each time, gave me the affidavit of service I needed, and were truly helpful throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: Alex is a terrible manager. He talks down on customers and cancels service for no reason.

Fantastic experience: We hired Ancillary to serve some legal papers, and before the ink was dry on the form they'd already made an attempt to serve the Defendant lickety split! And this was all at regular service billing rate. They were great to work with us and very diligently ensured service went off without a hitch. Honorable mention to our liaison Miss Tabatha who not only delivered superb customer service support but also was working (emailing and calling me) while she was sick. Ancillary are true professionals who pay attention to the small details.

Fantastic experience: I can't fully express how satisfied I am with the services provided by Ancillary Legal Corporation. They were able to serve a defendant within one day of being hired, after a previous company was unable to get results over months. Foss in particular is incredibly helpful and responsive.

Negative experience: Do not use Ancillary Legal or only with GREAT CAUTION. I had a hearing last week. Subpoenas I sent to be served on an expedited, rush basis were not even attempted at two addresses. No checks for mileage or witness fees were printed. No notes in the file about even printing mileage and witness fee checks for witnesses after we discussed this by phone. They could not confirm where one witness was served because she wasn't served and the two other addresses where she could have been found weren't attempted. No - as in zero - communication from the company about the status of service of subpeonas. I am counting my blessings that the hearing date was bumped a week out - otherwise I would have been missing key witnesses for trial. I am shocked by the lack of accountability, lack of communication, and disorganization in this company. The company contacted me and apologized. They explained that they terminated the employee responsible. They also wrote off the expense. I hope that this will change the service received by future clients.

Negative experience: Please do not use this company. It could cost you. They do not exercise due diligence in effecting service. They do not follow up properly. They do not ensure all documentation is filled out and turned into the right people.
