Fantastic experience: This was my first time using an Investigators to help locate a person. They were very professional and stayed in constant contact with me as they progressed in their investigation. Kate, who was assigned to my case was the best !! Fantastic experience: I was looking at Private Detective academies, and after learning about Lynx Security Group, and talking back and forth with the owner, Ed a few times, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that a course was dropping several months ahead of schedule. My expectations for the course were exceeded on day one. Ed has assembled an incredible team of instructors, each an expert in their respective field. The course material was easy to follow and the practical exercises reinforced what we were learning. Ed’s passion, thoroughness, and attention to detail was apparent. Personally, I love the fact that Ed doesn’t believe in “rubber-stamping.” If you can’t show that you are competent, you will not pass the course. In addition to being graded by the instructors, you are also graded by your classmates. The education didn't stop once the course was over. Ed continues to put together live webinars to enhance your skill set and build upon what was learned in class. These webinars also include all-star lineups and have been an invaluable tool. I’ve never felt more prepared. Without hesitation, I’d recommend LSG for both training and their services. I couldn’t be happier with the product that Ed and his team put forth and I’m looking forward to training with them again in the very near future.

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing course and well worth it. I was initially hesitant about the price but after attending the full five days I can definitely say I got a lot more than what I paid for. The cadre of instructors brought in was very impressive. The surveillance was the best part of the course by far with courtroom testimony second. Lynx set up a fictitious case for us to investigate which included surveilling a husband suspected of infidelity. We followed him ( role player ) around the whole day, took pictures and video of him as we were assisted by our instructors. It was a glimpse into a very exciting and promising career that I am looking forward to get started with. The course was very professional and is run by a combination of retired and current federal agents who impart their significant knowledge of investigative and surveillance skills to the class. This course is highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I'm a retired west coast LEO with 25+ years of experience, have had my PI license in my retirement state for 16 years, and have spent the last 20 years teaching and administering LE courses. I recently took the 40-hour Lynx PI Academy. I've attended MANY LE courses over the years, and I found this course to be done very professionally, and the instructors were high caliber. I got quite a lot out of this course, including up to date information on Maryland laws covering PIs. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to become a PI in the State of Maryland (or surrounding states).

Fantastic experience: I attended the PI Academy and it was one of the best experiences. I learned so much. The class was carefully planned out and structured. The passion for the field and the passion to teach really showed. The instructor brought in several experts to also teach us different aspects and techniques in their field of expertise. And their passion to teach also showed. It showed that everyone really cared about us learning properly and there were no short cuts. I highly recommend this academy and I will return to brush up on new information.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended Lynx (Private Investigation Academy); Jan-Feb 2023. I was very pleased w/ the enormous amount of information and instructions that I received over the 5-day course. The instructors were professional and patient w/ all the students. They were subject matter experts and very knowledgeable about the areas they taught. They were eager to answers all questions from each student and ensured we were satisfied with the answers that they provided. They provided their business cards and said we could reach to them at any time. Equipment is provided for use during the course if you inform them in advance that you need it. I enjoyed the hands-on practical assignments in and out of the classroom. The training site was very clean and comfortable. Ten-minute breaks were allowed every hour w/ a one hour lunch breaks with plenty of restaurants close by. I would attend their training course again and would love to become a part of their team. I also attended Lynx (Investigative Photography Course) in Nov 2022 at the same facility. I also stayed in the hotel for that 1-day course to ensure I was there on time. The rooms very clean with a microwave and refrigerator inside, w/ complimentary breakfast. My only recommend is for them to provide students with all the course material once they receive full payment from that student. Providing students with the material prior to class allows student to print the material off to bring to class. That cuts down the expenses for Lynx and allow student to have something tangible to walk away with. The course is a pretty fast pace course and they go through the slide pretty quickly. NO one can retain all that information in such a short period. Everybody learns different and at a different pace. Having material to refer to is always very important and helpful. My only other recommendations are allowing people their space within the classroom at this time should be highly encouraged. Though the (pandemic) has slowed down we are still in it. I’m have high-risk conditions so that’s very important to me and that needs to be considered and respected. I took a PI training course at another facility back in 2020 which have since closed. It was right at the beginning of pandemic; I attended class one day, and the state was shut down. Students were later scheduled to come back over the next two to three months to come in to complete one day at a time. The instructions were very minimum. Each instruction spoke about 30 minutes and didn’t provide me with anything that I didn’t know already. No training material was every provided and I was not happy about that. When you pay for professional training at any dollar amount you expect to receive training material, especially for $650.00. The staff was not very professional at all, and they really didn’t care if you came back at all because they had already received payment. The classroom was very small. The owner was a chain smoker, so the entire facility reeked of smoke. The classroom was very small.

Fantastic experience: I just completed the Investigative Photography course offered by Lynx Security Group. I thought it was a very well organized and thorough course. The instructors (Ed and Mike) were excellent, also. We did a lot of practical exercises which helped to reinforce the learning. I went into it not knowing how to take photos with a digital camera and by the end of the course, I felt comfortable. I highly recommend this course. I just completed the Private Investigator Academy. Excellent course! If you are looking to get licensed as Private Investigator in Maryland, this is the course you should take! It's very thorough and well thought out.

Fantastic experience: I took the Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Training with Lynx Security Group and it truly was amazing! All the instructors were highly skilled professionals with different areas of expertise- which allowed for a very wholistic learning experience. I was able to acquire different skills and techniques that I can apply in real world scenarios. Importantly, I made invaluable connections with not only the instructors, but also the attendees of the training, all of whom also offered valuable knowledge from their own experiences and careers. I would definitely recommend this training, as well as any other courses held by Lynx Security Group for anyone who wants to prepare and excel in the field of private investigations.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed Lynx Security Group’s Private Investigation Academy. This covered all the necessary skills needed to be a licensed PI in the state of Maryland. The 5- Day PI Certification Course was taught by professionals in each area of expertise. Emphasis on the use of OSINT resources for Investigations was encouraged and promoted. The program incorporates both classroom and field exercises with practice in individual and team surveillance and photography, team communication technology, and concluded with a mock trial featuring a very capable opposing attorney. I would recommend this course to both new-comers to the field and anyone needing recertification or just wanting to brush up on the latest technical skills available. Edward Panico and the other instructors were all great.

Fantastic experience: I went through Lynx’s physical surveillance course a while back and the lessons I learned have been invaluable! While it was geared towards mostly working in large surveillance teams, the knowledge also translates to working in 2-3 person surveillance teams as well. I could not recommend this course enough. It’s well worth it.
