Statewide Process Servers and Salt Lake Private Detectives

Fantastic experience: I found this company online since we are located in another state. Although there was a small hiccup in receiving the documents, this company provided me with a fast service and a reasonable fee.

Negative experience: Would not recommend. They attempted to charge me twice. I also paid for the rush fee and it took almost a month for delivery. Also I wasn’t able to contact them via email to get updates on status of service I always had to call as my emails went unanswered.

Negative experience: Shout out to process server Jim C. who knocked on my door and engaged in a conversation with my extremely minor son asking where his mother was. He felt it was appropriate to ask my son to lead the way from my front door outside my residence to the backyard where we were. Surveillance footage to prove it. After pretending to work for FedEx delivering a package for her we accepted the summons he issued but claimed he didn't have any business cards for me after I asked for one. Since when is it not against the law for your servers to engage in conversation to minors who answer the door? Since when is it ok to lie to a minor saying you are a delivery guy for FedEx and ask the minor to leave his residence. You will be hearing from me.

Fantastic experience: Statewide was fantastic to work with! Super kind and knowledgable. You hope to never have to get a process server involved but If you need to, these are the guys to go with!

Fantastic experience: My partner needed to have an individual served with time sensitive legal matters. We received notice within 24 hours that the individual had been successfully served. We received email confirmation which was extremely convenient. I highly recommend services through Statewide Processors.

Negative experience: So I got a garnishment from my employer and I never got served I contacted weber county courts they informed me that this company stated they personally handed me documents which was a successful serve. I called them and spoke to Jason which he told me his processor talk to me through my ring doorbell and left the serving documents at my door ND took a picture. So where are the documents then. Jason also told me the are allowed to serve 16 year adult documents Ummm no sir. They falsified documents stating they successfully served me and that is a misdemeanor offense. They also approached my neighbors asking if I live here. Really come on amateurs. You need to have your license revoked and business closed down. Can't wait til my attorneys get this dismissed for inaccurate serving. Not successfully Colton. And I got cottons name from the courthouse. Oh and my dog was barking at the person knocking on my door and quote I sicked my dog on him. Lol really come on now. Please don't quite your day job bud

Negative experience: They dont even deserve 1 star a server came to my home and asked for a man who i told no longer lived here as he recorded me telling him that man hasnt lived here in months he still continues to harrass me and throws the paperwork on the porch and says I've been served... the man who was being served has not lived here in over a year when i called to inform them of the harrassment they acted as if i was in the wrong i was mistreated and this company could care less they are whats wrong with the world and apology would have been appreciated i have called and complained to the BBB they have no respect for the innocent people they have harrassed

Negative experience: No communication whatsoever. Emailed papers as directed on website, they sent payment form, I filled it out and sent it back and... nothing. My card was charged without even a confirmation that they'd received the form. I had to call in myself a couple days later to find out what was going on and even then got minimal info with no indication of when the papers would actually be served or what the situation was. Now, I still haven't heard from them (several days later). No idea what's going on. Very annoying and completely unprofessional.

Negative experience: I worked with my eviction lawyer, and the Utah Eviction Law office ordered constable service with Statewide Utah without even notify me. A month and half past, I received an email stated that I owned $210 to Statewide Utah and is past due. I was really surprised because I did not order the service and never received any paper statement that demanding for payment before or after service, and do not know how much is their service, or what is including in their service. If Utah Eviction Law office or Statewide Utah did inform me before ordering the service, I will gladly pay for it. If I responsible for paying the bill, I should at least being notify and being knowledge of what is the cost of it. I should have a choice of hiring which constable service that is nearby me and might be lower price too. Later, I found out The Utah Eviction Law office sent an email ask Statewide Utah office to call me for appointment, and specifically told Statewide Utah bill to me only. It is the Statewide Utah fail to notify me and provide the cost of their service and overtime charge.

Negative experience: I was dealing with some legal issues and was served court documents. The processor/ server working for statewide, Served the papers to my minor child (12) even after asking his age. This is illegal and I have taken action.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Statewide Process Servers on a couple of projects and they are always fast and reliable. I highly recommend them!
