The caliber of instructors and industry professionals are second to none and they will show you "what right looks like" I just completed a SDTC and look forward to attending more courses in the future!

Fantastic experience: The information I received during the Executive Protection Course was invaluable. The course cemented prior knowledge and also taught new and improved lessons and techniques. The practical exercises and training were fun, engaging and realistic without being monotonous or boring. This course was fantastically challenging. I am glad I attended and would recommend this course to individuals who are new to the industry and vets like me who want to expand their knowledge and skill-set.

Fantastic experience: The defensive & evasive driving course was fantastic! I haven't had that much fun and been taught that intensely since police academy driving. That was amazing and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I went through the 7 day EP training offered by LaSorsa & Associates. As someone who took the training to learn about protecting candidates and elected officials, I really appreciate the work that went into tailoring the training to the specific needs of campaigns and Joe's willingness to learn from people with political experience when relevant. It created lots of mutual learning opportunities that made the training very relevant to the practical concerns of the campaign world!

Fantastic experience: Lasorsa and Associates 9 Day Executive Protection Course was top notch. Joe's teaching style was unique and gave great insight into real world Executive Protection work. The amount of material covered and resources he made available will keep everyone learning and referring back to long after the course. During the Field Training Exercise everyone was tested in real life scenarios and had to think on their feet and make critical decisions that brought real life lessons. It was humbling in some instances but appropriately as to prepare us. I learned greatly from these experiences which showed my strengths and weaknesses and what I really needed to work on. The Emergency Medical and Stop the Bleed courses were incredible. The amount of information and the teaching style made us think beyond putting a tourniquet on or stuffing a wound with gauze. And finally the Defensive and Evasive Driving Course was intense and fun. The skills learned here made me think about driving differently, and the test/scenario at the end of the course was epic. Overall, I can't say enough about this course. One word of advice: be proficient with your technology and apps/Google maps before you come to the course. Understanding your technology will help you navigate learning smoother than if you don't have a lot of experience with these things

Fantastic experience: The Security Consulting Training Course far exceeded my expectations. Joe provides a comprehensive program with examples of his own experiences and lays out a path for you to follow to start a consulting business. After completing this course, the only obstacle to becoming a sought-after provider is you because of the amount of follow up work that must be done to achieve that status.

Fantastic experience: While on active duty in the navy, I had the privilege to be exposed to shipboard security, law enforcement and firefighting training; the training I received at the EP course by LaSorsa and Associates was by far one of the most intense, structured, enjoyable, informative and most importantly...realistic. Mr. LaSorsa himself heads the course and through a Socratic method of teaching, I personally was able to learn not only from his personal experiences, but also to learn from my peers in the security field as well. The classes averaged 8-10hr day and even then there is a wealth of information to continue to learn once the course is completed. Amongst the training, you learn quick tips on how to cater to your client(s); think ahead on "what could go wrong?" scenarios; exposure to sites where equipment that many security professionals use in the field can be purchased; how to budget your expenses in the field and than how to create a clean template for your company finance department. On the first day the course starts out with what an Executive Protection agents' duties are; how to conduct themselves around clients; factoring risks in travel areas; securing sleeping/living spaces of the client; medical training and at least a basic knowledge of the locales they may be requested to accompany the client on. These are only a few of the tasks agents will be taught, and the class will continue to build till on the fourth day the students will break up into teams and "shadow" a client from the airport to a conference and anywhere else they wish to go till they return to their hotel; in which the exercise will be complete and the teams will return to the classroom for a debriefing. The final day closes with an exam; after action reports and further knowledge on resources available to those who want to continue training in EP work. The course was my first exposure to EP training, and so while I have no previous courses to compare it to, I have had military and law enforcement training to compare and I consider the course a 5 star program from beginning to end. I have gone on to tell my co-workers at my current security company who are also interested in EP work that at the very least this course is a must have to put under their belt. The instructors at LaSorsa and Associates were competent, professional and thorough; the classroom learning plan was well laid out, structured and flowed well from chapter to chapter. The "live training" was realistic, challenging and an educational experience. Overall this course offers what you would want whether as a veteran operator or someone entering into the field relatively new. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: I attended the 4 day Executive Protection Agent Training Course in November 2020. The amount of EP agent role specific knowledge and practical training and application of that knowledge was amazing! Over almost 3 years now I have used that knowledge to preform on details above what is expected of an agent. I have excelled in the industry as a direct result of the LaSorsa and Associates training I received. I continue to utilize my training materials to this day. Not only was the in person training amazing and memorable, I also still have access to the written curriculum, data, and sources to refer to whenever I need! All the instructors from this course are very talented and exceptional at presenting their specialties. I still have contact on occasion with all of them. Instructors pull from real-world experiences to enhance the curriculum, which really solidifies the reliability of the information presented. Practical applications of the topic areas help to relate concepts to reality. I highly recommend the full, 9-day EP course, but each segment is valuable individually, too. No regrets from this course.
