Ranger Cinco, LLC: Reviews
Positive experience: Its mid to say the most. Lots of ups & downs but nothing terrible nor grandiose. Pay is low, no incentives to grow or raises, no benefits worthwhile, but the work is easy. If you resign without a two weeks notice they will cut your check using minimum wage so read your policy agreements. Not bad people, there are kind folks in office but just from a business management perspective maybe if you just need extra $ then this is a place to go. Never settle and continue to seek better, but it's nice if you can make a living on the low wages. Really loved an individual named Nick, he looked out for me. A major plus is they always paid me on time.
Negative experience: I recently applied for a position with this security company and was excited to receive an email from Indeed about moving forward with an in-person interview. I even received texts from a hiring manager with the interview schedule. However, my experience with this company was beyond disappointing. As I parked at the interview location on Kitty Hawk, I called the number I had been texting to confirm my arrival. To my shock, the person on the other end, Michael Jimenez, CEO/Private Investigator/Sales, answered with a racist, derogatory Asian accent, saying something along the lines of "sucky-sucky." As someone of Asian descent, I found this not only unprofessional but deeply demeaning. Despite this, I decided to go in for the interview, only to be told that they had already filled the position—the same day they sent me the request for an interview. If the position was filled, a simple notification would have sufficed instead of wasting my time and subjecting me to offensive behavior. I have never worked for this company, but based on this experience alone, I can confidently say that this company is unbearably disrespectful, doesn’t value your time, and lacks basic communication skills. If you’re considering applying here, be prepared for a lack of professionalism and potentially racist treatment.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional suppose to work for them they kept telling me no start date yet never communicate with me had to find out by someone else that the contact was not going through terrible lack of communication
Fantastic experience: My time of employment at Ranger Cinco Security will be coming up soon at 2 years. This company is well run and the supervisors are more than fair with scheduling and placement of officers. The work sites are great and the security cars are well maintained. I've never had a problem with our pay and the direct deposit is on time and never wrong. Sure there's other companies out there and the grass may look greener. But I'll take happiness and and scheduled days off anyday over uncertainly.
Fantastic experience: Greatest security service to work for.
Negative experience: horrible company to work for , they don’t pay you for hours worked and this is a experience a friend of mine had with them the supervisor didn’t answer the phone after telling her she would be paid for missing hours on her check he gave her the run around it’s been 3 days still no payment after he promised her she would be paid direct deposit 2 days ago ! unprofessional
Fantastic experience: Honestly this company has its ups and downs depending on who you’re speaking with. there is a handful of supervisors that you can depend on, but you do have to communicate. Don’t lie and don’t make up false accusations. This company is a really good company they do look out for their employees. They try their best to do what they can for their employees and I can see from experience that they have really good officers when trained by fellow supervisors, this company has a good heart I can’t imagine people who would talk down on this company again it’s all about communication. I’ve been working this job for about a few months now. Don’t let criticism affect your view of this company. Sometimes you gotta just take that and go with it. It doesn’t matter. The criticism is not meant to hurt you and it will help you in the end more than hurt you. Honestly.
Fantastic experience: I have been working with Ranger Cinco for the past two years. You can definitely say I'm staying for the long haul. Ranger Cinco treats their employees with professionalism and respect, And understanding. My supervisor has great communication and works with you and makes working a breeze. I Recommend Ranger Cinco for anyone looking for employment in Security.
Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff and it always smells so clean.
Fantastic experience: Ranger Cinco is a good company that has great people working for them, management is always on top of things making sure that the officers are taken care of, as well as prepared for their sites. Having worked for them for over a year now, I have to say that this is by far the best security company I've ever been at.
Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with this company. Management was friendly and quick to respond. The security officer at our event was well dressed and on time! We will definitely be using Ranger Cinco for future events!
Negative experience: Horrible management .They send u to a museum downtown where u have to pay for your own parking and stand the whole shift that u work.. .For $11.50!Warning don't work for this company if u don't really need the $.SMH the company is so unprofessional if they would have concentrated on respecting employees more other people would maybe want to work for them but because they underpay people and have u standing for hrs with no break I ended up quitting. Please dont set yourself up to work here!CAUTION!
Well its obvious that Ms. Davis is in the wrong line of work. Security Officers do some standing at their post, it depends what the client wants, she should look into maybe an office job. She agreed to work at this post and did so for about 2 months. There is no free parking in downtown San Antonio, besides she was reimbursed for her parking.
Fantastic experience: Good company to work for. Managment goes out of there way to take care of the employees.
Negative experience: Quiet place to work, however they are NOT honest about why I was let go. They said one thing to me but told unemployment something comepletly different. Shame on them!!! No respect for people like that.
We believe in honesty with our clients and employees. After bringing in a professional auditor, an audit was conducted and a multitude of costly errors were discovered after the employee was let go and this was added information given to the Texas Work Force Commission.
Negative experience: Decent security company with a horrible Ex-Texas Ranger running the show. The supervisors are great people to work with, but once you've got a contract which the owner Rudolfo "Rudy" oversees then forget it. Had a Horrible experience with the potty mouth. Fired me on the spot while working a site due to not allowing him to talk to me as if I was a sort of animal. Upset that I asked for some respect as a human being, then threaten to sue me with the friends he's acquired along his career if I expressed my personal opinion. Would not recommend for other personal to apply here unless if your okay being talked down to as if your nothing but a piece of meat. Will be posting the phone conversation I had his the CEO on their FaceBook Page. Go there to see what occurred.
We at Ranger Cinco value our Clients and give them their monies worth and more, we strive to make the client happy with the security service we provide them. We also care about our employees and want them to be happy where they are assigned. Due to the level of professionalism that I personally come from, including professional conduct and dress code, I expect our Security Officers to be properly dressed before starting their shift. Uniform shirt tails must be tucked in and clip-on ties worn to portray a professional image, especially after being at their post for 2 hours. JP was a good hard working employee, he disliked criticism and threaten to quit. We strive to give our clients the professionalism they deserve.
