Negative experience: STAY AWAY!!!!! SCAMMER ALERT SCAMMER ALERT this man scammed my wife and I on Christmas Eve, stole our money, didn’t provided any of the services that we requested and stopped answering our calls. We did a little “investigation” of our own and found he has an extensive criminal record, including but not limited to pending criminal sexual conduct 1st degree and disturbing schools, that’s very disturbing to know we trusted this man, we are very disappointed with the lack of services provided and lack of care and concern. Horrible service! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Will be reporting to SLED immediately!! Update: Mr. Dean, we have tried to contact you numerous times to no prevail. You intentionally ignored us I requested a copy of the contract, (which you never provided) and It is a violation of South Carolina law to conduct private investigation work, as defined in Title 40, for compensation, except pursuant to (1) a written and signed pre-performance contract or (2) a clearly stated and knowledgeable waiver of contract. Which in our case neither were done so at this point you have conducted an ILLEGAL investigation. You refused to provide absolute anything to show the hours put in… seeing that you have been in business for 25+ years you would think you would conduct business like a professional with integrity and morals but I guess you don’t stand for that you stand for conducting illegal investigations and refusing to reply or answer and taking peoples money

Fantastic experience: The other PIs wanted to "trace him for weeks to watch for patterns". [eye roll]. That wasn't necessary and would have cost me dearly. Despite, my attorney's counsel, I called Russell one evening when I KNEW we could get the evidence. He was on site within 30 minutes and was able to obtain the necessary material. He was very professional and responsive. My attorney accepted his materials and submitted them with the case. I highly recommend Dean Investigation Agency!
