Fantastic experience: I've gone to several places before for various fingerprinting and passport services. Phoenix stood out from the rest! Their staff was friendly warming and very helpful in getting me all the items that I needed. They knew exactly what services to offer and their prices were very competitive with the rest of the market. Customer service is very important to me and any place that I spend money should make me feel like a valued client. Phoenix Protective Solutions knocked this out of the park. I will only be returning to them for all my future needs and will be recommending them to anyone in the future!

Negative experience: First the young girl greeted me rudely. I told her why I was there and she asked me my name. Then she said oh you’re not the lady who canceled! I was like obviously not since I’m standing here 10 minutes early. She tried to charge me for 3 sets of prints for MSP licensing renewal. Everyone knows you only need one set since it’s going to the same agency and all the renewals are on one application. I try to support black owned business but they are super greedy. The young girl who is the receptionist and who does all the fingerprints isn’t knowledgeable or comfortable about her job duties. She called the owner or manager asking what codes to use and the owner told her to charge me an additional $120 for the renewal of my MSP licensing. They wasted my time after I prepaid $60 for live scan prints. Who pays $180 for fingerprints? Needless to say I reported them to Maryland State Police.

To address your stated concerns, we’ll share some facts: ALL MSP licenses do not go on the same application. I’m not sure “everyone knows” this, however, it’s easy enough to be verified. The 3 separate renewals you were attempting to get printed were for State or FBI ONLY and even if mistakenly completed separately would have never amounted to $180 (our reasonable prices are transparently listed on our website). Again, we apologize for your less-than-favorable visit and glad that the technician, who is new and still learning, was able to promptly provide you with a full refund. Negative experience: Great customer service but the turn around on getting your results are awfully long. I got at the end of March. I still have not received my results.

Phoenix has no control over the turnaround time for your results getting to you, as all LiveScan providers simply transmit prints to the State or FBI, who in turn provide the customer with their results.
