Fantastic experience: Brian was very thorough and timely in my request to locate my missing son. He was able to locate my son within a few weeks even though he was across the country! Brian went the extra mile and personally made the trip to save time and money which brought a very worried mom some comfort and reassurance of my sons safety. I would highly recommend McDonald & Associates for any kind of investigative work as they were very responsive to my request, stayed within my budget and got results very quickly.

Brian, especially, went out of his way to ensure the best possible service and even helped craft a backup plan in case our course of action was interrupted. Negative experience: We hired McDonald and Associates to help us locate family. We provided the information and were told we would get results back in two weeks. Three weeks later we received a "report." The report were results from basic searches most people can conduct on the internet. They mentioned a family name and said it may or may not be a relative. Nobody from the firm attempted to confirm the information. We ended paying a lot of money for little to no investigative work, just data from a records check and standard court filings. When we made contact to negotiate a better resolution, we received no response. Rebuttal to Response from owner: First and foremost I would strongly suggest you edit your formal response and exclude the facts you referenced about my specific investigation. Mentioning investigation specifics in such a public forum brings to question your professionalism, integrity and ethics. It also violates section 8 of the signed agreement. This public forum was utilized when you stopped responding when I sent correspondence asking for a negotiated settlement based on the questionable number of hours for the investigation. Utilizing an entire bank of pre-paid hours, to tell us nothing could be found, was questionable. I am hoping this public forum can be used by others when determining which business/company they choose to have a business relationship. I do hope others have a better experience with your company. I am not pleased.

Fantastic experience: I use McDonald & Associates to investigate fraudulent insurance claims. They do a very good job and have been around forever. If you want investigators with a proven track record and lots of experience, these are the guys.

Positive experience: Whenever I send a request to McDonald & Associates, I always get an immediate response and thank you for our business. Their investigations are thorough and their reports are well written and precise in the details. We have had other investigators who got "caught", not so with McDonald & Associates. They are very cordial and pleasant to deal with and strive to do the best job we need them to do.
