Fantastic experience: I contacted Jeff to find someone who had a lot of protections built into their anonymity, for a charitable purpose. He was amazing. Despite me having little more than a name to start with, for the cost of his retainer he investigated across 3 state lines, learned things I would have thought impossible, pursued the case for months, over-delivered on my expectations and needs, got the ideal desired result, and then refunded part of the deposit. I recommend him on all levels without reservation, and would hire him again from any state (I don’t live in Nevada) any time. A+ work, fully recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was at my wits end! I had just been on the phone with 3 other so called investigation businesses. All of them gave me useless advice like "did you google it" and try "411" ...listen up... You think I'd be calling for professional help if I could just GOOGLE IT COME ON! Fantastic experience: I am honestly blown away at how quick Spencer was able to find my long lost brothers who were kidnapped almost thirty years ago. I had their social secutity numbers and he made a fair offer: if I can find them you pay, if I cannot then you dont pay. Sounded fair enough, so I sent him the SS numbers and literally within fifteen minutes or so he sent me info on what seemed to be the correct people. In disbelief I pulled over and called the number given and sure enough, to my HUGE SURPRISE it was my half brother!!! Spencer made it seem effortless and so easy to do what two detectives thirty years ago couldnt do over the time period of about fifteen years. Technology is a marvelous thing and Spencer knows how to use it to do what he's best at! I highly recommend him to anyone. My father was beyond excited when I came home that night to tell him that all it took was one phone call to the right man, and that man for us was Spencer!! Thanks a million :)

Fantastic experience: My firm has engaged Spencer Investigations for 3 separate matters now. Dustin Grate has done excellent work. He is a great witness interviewer and produces prompt, readable reports with plenty of backup material. For example, in one case he discovered a bullet fired by the police at our client and which was completely overlooked by the State's investigation. In another case he worked, Dustin was able to prove that the State's "bullet fragment" allegedly shot into the victim was actually a metal piece broken off from a gun sight - no gun was ever fired at the "victim" at all. If you need reputable "on-time, on budget" service, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would have to uses a PI, but I did. I was reluctant at first. I didn't want to get ripped off, considering I'm from California too. Spencer Investigation is very professional. Everything is documented and itemized and the costs were expensive (which I"m sure all PI's are) but fair. It is easy to get updates from them too. They got the job done, so in the end it was well worth it.

Fantastic experience: After weeks of no results from local law enforcement, we hired Dustin Drake. Dustin was able to accomplish the job we hired him for in less than 48 hours!!! This assignment was rather difficult and Dustin more than exceeded our expectations in getting it handled. Negative experience: He is the worst private detective I have come across. I have hired private detectives before and they always did what I paid them for. First, Dustin Grate was hard to get hold of. Then he told me for the work he would do, it would cost $90.00 an hour and it would take 2 hours. On the day that he was supposed to arrive he called me 10 minutes after the appointment time to say he was coming soon. He ended up being 30 minutes late and didn't even apologize for being late. Then he only worked for 45 minutes to do what I asked him to do. Then when he was done I asked him if I still owed him $180.00 and he hesitated and acted like he wanted more. I couldn't believe his attitude. I think if he said he charged $90.00 an hour that he should keep his word, especially since he was 30 minutes late. That is only fair. I wrote him a check but I was thinking maybe he was short money so that's why he wanted the larger amount. Then he held onto my check for almost a month so he must not have needed the money badly.
