Negative experience: Spoke to a man on the phone that had no idea what he was talking about. You could tell he was one of those guys that don't actually want to work.
When you called our office, I could tell you were not being open about things. When I asked you a question, you would not answer it or change the subject. We get all sorts of calls from all sorts of people. We “listen” to each call and always invite people, at no charge in most cases, to meet with us to discuss their case in detail. This is done for two reasons – it gives us a chance to hear exactly what they need, and it allows us to give them a ball park estimate of the cost to help them, provided that we decide to take their case. When we get a phone call that sounds rushed and the person will not even answer simple questions, then we tend to treat that call as if they have something to hide. I know Scott Headly, and he is a decent person and a long time businessperson in Lakeland. I could tell that he was concerned about “something”, but he just would not talk. He also would not agree to meet and discuss what was going on. In fact, he hung up on me in mid-sentence. Because I know him, and I know that this is not his normal character, I drove by his office and offered to talk to him in person. I never heard back from him - Except for this harsh review.
Negative experience: Not even in office so can't speak face to face.
As it says on our website, we require an appointment to meet with you in person. And we offer a free consultation. If you really wanted to speak to us, you could have just called us. We operate this way due to the nature of our business and to protect our clients privacy.
Fantastic experience: I've known of Alpha Agency for years but never expected to be able to use their services. My thoughts about private investigators were limited to what I've seen in movies and television! I've been enjoying Alpha Agency's online ads which are informative and often entertaining. Through the ads, I've started to understand that they can help in many different circumstances and situations. I recently hired them to resolve an ongoing conflict with another business. What was important to me was that my relationship with the other business not be harmed as I really like and care for the other party. Not only did Alpha Agency resolve the issue in a small amount of time (1 week!) but they did so in a way that helped *improve* the relationship! Communications have been re-established and the conflict was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties. Remarkable! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was having a particular problem. I hired Alpha Agency to resolve that issue and they were fast, professional, courteous and effective. I will definitely hire them again if a similar issue should arise.

Negative experience: Padded billing. I was quoted a fee, based on an hourly rate and it took an hour less than what was quoted and I never received a refund. I asked that they testify in court on my behalf and was informed it would be $500 retainer for each person and another $200/hour per person and they determined that it would take 10 hours each to prep for court. So basically I would have to pay them $5000 for testimony. What ever happened to just doing the right thing? I was not impressed with their services and will not use them again, nor will I suggest them to anyone in the future. Don't waste your time or money on this agency it is a rip-off.
It’s our policy to never discuss details about a case, but in this case, I will offer some general information that may shed light of a review that is not factual or clear… Our agency was hired by another firm to provide specialized TSCM Services that they do not offer themselves. This type of service, to detect listening devices requires special training and equipment to do properly, which we have. We originally told her we would have two people at her home to do this job. We brought THREE investigators and as a result of this finished up one hour early. We completed the job and told her that there were no hidden bugs detected, and she was visibly upset and would not be able to use this information against her soon to be “Ex Husband”. Several weeks later, we get a call from her new law firm that she wants us to testify in court on her behalf that we did NOT find any bugs in her home. I asked the law firm why she wants us to testify that we did NOT find any hidden bugs. He said he didn’t advise her to do that but she wanted to do that anyway. We told the law office we could do that and he said he would set it up, including billing her as she was his client, not ours. I guess after that, her case fell apart, since we never heard from her new law firm or her about the case. The next thing I see is this bad review with a made up name. In our type of business, we often end up in the middle of situations that are very hurtful to the people involved. Families are sometimes torn apart and emotions are high. People react differently to this type of stress and pain. We always try and tread lightly and not add to all of this. We listen and try our best to assist the client in any way we can. Fantastic experience: Alpha Agency is a very trustworthy and professional business and I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends or family. I was very untrusting of anyone when I decided to give them a chance. All the previous reviews rang true and they exceeded my expectations!
