Fantastic experience: A glimmer of hope amongst the squalor that I have come to love and hate, but I call her San Francisco. She is my HOME. My cousin calls me #TheFriscoKid. Most call me #Stellaaahhh and many many more ! or , call me what you will, love me or hate me, ignore or berate me, I am a #GrrrrrlRiottt I am not quiet. I've carried BIGGER sticks, but I have learned that my attitude of gratitude is not enough to keep me from hittimg the bricks. I believe in initiative, being proactive, and taking it to the streets in solidarity. Sometimes a GOOD offense is the BEST defense... I hope that I have found similar core values with some of these kindred spirits. I understand we have to find that 1 common thread. A conversation has to be had. My style must change, and for this I will rearrange and change to be the change I want to see!

Positive experience: I'm a janitor there; they help people find housing and pay their rent.

Fantastic experience: I got my art start here , they are pinnacles of the community standard of helping one by teaching one and I have never left there without my questions bieng answered or hope

Fantastic experience: Please be aware that the Central City SRO Collaborative DOES NOT ASSIST WITH DIRECT HOUSING. Our function is to advocate on behalf of tenants (habitability issues, harassment, eviction,etc.)

Fantastic experience: Great people if you having problem with your landlord this is the place to go

Positive experience: This place who need to there rights has a Tenant

Fantastic experience: The people at the collaborative we're like family from the very first day that's how they treated you like Home Folks

Negative experience: Don't waste your time here. All they have is a list of sro hotels. They have absolutely no answers beyond that. Another grand waste of money that could be used to house people instead of creating useless jobs that do nothing. How about at least keep track of who has openings and how long waits are. What do you do with the grant money?

Fantastic experience: I found the Sro Collaborative very help full in getting a horrid mgr removed from the Sro building i live at..as well as getting the building and health inspectors involved at the right times to address issue's said horrid property manager refused to address... Nothing but thanks to the staff...
