Negative experience: Firstly, let me clarify that we are not affiliated with the same account. In this free country, I have the right to express my dissatisfaction by leaving a negative review. I witnessed firsthand how crucial this particular matter is to my wife, and despite her attempts to contact your team via email and phone, she received no response. Secondly, I must admit that I'm impressed by your attitude , but I find it troubling that there seems to be a lack of empathy in your interactions with customers. When my wife shared with me the response she received from your team regarding her review, it was clear that she was expressing frustration stemming from the fact that she had invested money and trust in your service for a significant aspect of her life. It was disheartening to see that your team seemed solely focused on addressing her review without considering the possibility of providing a refund, or at least a partial refund, given the lack of results and the incomplete nature of the job. Additionally, now we are being called crazy New Yorkers? Haha, that's just the cherry on top of your lack of professionalism. If you were professionals, you would understand that sometimes people might not appreciate your work ethic and treatment. For your information, I am also your customer as I contributed to the payment for the "investigation," fully aware of its importance to her.
I'm going to start over for you Sofia. Your friend had no actionable information. The individual's name she provided is not registered anywhere. The employment she had for him was incorrect, no one (managers, HR, other employees) had ever heard of him and couldn't recall his face. The possible area he lived in was expansive and she had only a possible street he may have once resided on. She had no identifiers such as DOB, SSN, old addresses, relatives, friends, etc. She had nothing. I spent hours chasing down what she gave me to no extent. I spoke with her several times and emailed her as well to no avail. When I accepted her case it was under the impression that she at least had a correct name and vague but reliable facts which turned out to be a wrong assumption on my part. I want every case I choose to work to be successful but unfortunately all her information added up to nothing and as a result so did the results of the investigation that was conducted. I offered to chase down any new information she may have and didn't pursue the remainder of money outstanding on our original agreement. I don't know what else I could have done. Write your bad reviews, evidently Google allows 3rd party reviews from individuals who've never engaged my services, if it helps you.
Negative experience: PLEASE READ IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. My experience with these investigators has been nothing short of horrible. I trusted them with a very, very sensitive subject and one that is so important to me. I saved for months in order to hire them - again, because I decided to trust them with this subject. Joe was so quick to respond with rates and info before I submitted the payment - however, AFTER I paid, he started ignoring my calls and took FOREVER to respond to my emails. I called him so many times and he'd say "Can I call you in 5 mins?" but clearly never did. After I sent them a huge email, they chose to COMPLETELY GHOST ME. I sent a follow up and when I tell you I got ghosted I mean it - this is a true nightmare of a business and the worst part is that I asked them for a refund of $500 since I got NO RESULTS, and NO COMMUNICATION or UPDATES whatsoever. Again, they ghosted me. Losing $500 is bad enough, but the lack of decency in responding or providing any form of communication is truly reprehensible. They should be ashamed of running a business with zero integrity. I wish I knew this before but please DO NOT hire them - they are completely useless. If you give them information (any information) and they can't find anything, this just means they're awful investigators. It's actually almost impossible for people to fully disappear! I had to constantly investigate for them because of how bad they were. UPDATE: Oh look, Joe responded! How convenient that he did not respond to my emails or phone calls for MONTHS but he did respond to this review the same day I posted it. Your business is a joke and I can't believe you would refuse a refund - you did absolutely no work on this case. I hired new investigators and they've already provided results!
I accepted Maria's case despite some misgivings in an attempt to help locate a missing person/relative. Subject, under name I was given, did not come up in any of my search results. Client then informed me she was unsure if the name she had given me was correct, and said that he could go by an unknown, to her, name. Turns out client lives in NY and only had 3rd hand sketchy details. Other information given to me was very general such as "has several appts. with Dr - think he has arthritis now" and "XXX street for current address maybe but not sure (no street #)." In essence, to go on, we had an old photo, possible city street, possible employer and possibility he might to to a doctor somewhere, sometimes. We, of course, went to the employer in San Mateo several times and showed subject's picture around, spoke with at least 4 different managers including HR department manager but no one recognized the subject or even had any knowledge of him, HR didn't show his name in their system. So now we had only a possible street and old picture in a city of over 100,000 residents. Residences on the possible street were then canvassed but no one claimed to recognize the subject. I personally spoke with client several times and exchanged a handful of emails. She threatened this bad review if not given a full refund. Turns out she has given plenty of bad reviews. We contracted for 8 hours and client was billed for only 4. We can't guarantee results, only that every effort will be made and every resource brought to bear. We are very good at what we do and put 100% effort and resources into each and every case but we are not magicians. We work 400 cases a year, many of them involve locating missing persons successfully however this time with not having any quality information to rely on we were unable to locate the individual and client was not happy. I understand $500 is a lot of money to spend to get no results and I don't like not getting satisfactory results for any client but in this case we worked this case very thoroughly and spent time over and above what we were paid for. I'm sorry Maria that we were not able to get the results you wanted. I would be more than happy to resume the investigation if you get any sort of actionable information...at very little additional cost...in an effort to resolve this case.

Fantastic experience: I called in to the answering service and Julia was very helpful. She took a message for me and within 40 minutes an investigator called to answer a couple of uncommon questions and professionally helped me clarify some thoughts in regards to investigation processes. Fantastic experience: I was in a jam trying to locate a woman. In the process I exhausted every avenue I could think of to get a phone number/address. As a last resort, I went on the internet and by chance, I contacted Nighthawk Investigations in San Diego and spoke with Wayne Patterson, Private Investigator. In a matter of hours he located the woman and contacted me with her phone number. I don’t know how he did it, but in my opinion his performance was amazing.
