Fanta, We are very sorry to hear that you are upset about our investigative services. This is a tricky business, and we are always upfront about the possibility that our research and investigations could yield little-to-no usable results. For your case, we were hired to attempt to locate your missing vehicle that was taken by a significant other who was listed as a co-owner of the vehicle, hence why the police would not help. You purchased 6 hours of our time and research, 2 hours of which were dedicated to research of several databases with access limited to licensed Private Investigators. The remaining 4 hours were to be used to physically search any corresponding addresses found, old and new, and to check any other locations associated with the subject, including addresses of several close relatives. Our investigators spent a total of 3.5 hours the first night (9/7/19) not only searching the addresses linked to the subject via our databases, but also several different addresses and neighborhoods you mentioned over the phone. We were unable to locate the vehicle at any of these locations, true, but we needed to establish a baseline for our investigation, and to at the very least rule out those locations—but we did not stop there. We contacted you and offered to conduct another evening of surveillance (for no additional charge), with 2 investigators covering 2 separate exits of the subject’s workplace. Under your own admission, you were unable to provide accurate working hours for your significant other due to his odd work schedule, but we were going to try regardless, because we are dedicated to customer satisfaction. The only reason our continued search was delayed was due to a remaining balance from the first night—we typically require payment before conducting locates, but we made a special exception given your circumstances and allowed 50% up front, 50% after the initial search. Once we received full payment (late afternoon of 9/9/19), we scheduled the complimentary night of surveillance for that Thursday. On that morning (9/12/19), you told us you found your vehicle on your own—we congratulated you and even offered to submit a partial refund due to us not being able to finish our investigation. This morning (9/18/19), much to our surprise, we arrived at our office to find this false, negative, and libelous review. We can only work with the information we have, and we have processes and procedures to finding anything or anyone that is missing, the same as any investigator whether it be a Police Detective, the FBI, or a Private Investigation Firm. We offered to go above and beyond to rectify the situation, offering a refund of more than an hour of time used, but apparently we cannot please everyone. Once again, I am very sorry to hear you feel as though you wasted your money, but please remember, you hired us to provide a service that we did clearly provide (and did offer to provide even more at no additional charge).
