Negative experience: **Companies & Potential Employees BEWARE** If I could give this security "company" 0 stars I would, out of 21 years of Military Service & 5 years of private sector employment this is the biggest fraud of a "company" I've ever seen. This place is a total scam, 99% of them are a bunch of Paul Bart mall cop rejects. So they aren'teemployed by a bunch of ex Police Officers or Veterans as they CLAIM, they use this as their way to pretend to be Veteran & retired Police friendly. First off I'd like to say as a Veteran of the US Army Military Police Corps I'm deeply offended by the way this "company" says they employ& rrespect ex police officers & Veterans, however they screw us over. They pretend to be Veteran friendly & ex police officer friendly. They work the people who are in shape like slaves, & I don't use that term lightly. If you're wondering why I use quotation marks when referringto this place as a company like they claim, it's because they don't even have an office building, or space! They use their home as the office & a telephone answering service as staff. Because after my horrible experience that I'll explain in detail at the end of this review, I tried to go to the "office" they use on the internet, however it DOESN'T EXIST, maybe at one time it did but no longer. And after my experience I've spoken to several other Veterans & ex police officers who have had similar issues with TRVST, which I was shocked even though I had the experience that I did, after I was shown how Tony, the owner of TRVST claimed that he didn't pay some of the Veterans who I spoke with was because he suspected that they were plotting against him. He has a clause that if asked by a client to do personal security on your own that you are unable to FOR LIFE, among many other things that I found out by my Attorney that in his contract he has people sign is illegal.... So the following is the reason why this coward scammed me, & this is my experience with them: I was offered a gig to do personal security for the Monsters of Rock, Cruise to the Edge, & Blue's Cruise bands on the Royal Caribbean in 2019 which was subcontracted to TRVST for security. After being told what we'd be doing I thought as a retired Military Police Officer it sounded like a good opportunity to go on a cruise, provide security for the bands, & see the places where we going to be stopping etceter. HOWEVER, I found out before the cruise even started they run things like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. They had my crew doing 12 hour shifts, with 20 minute breaks, with no half day off like the other crews, we had 3 HOURS TO SPEND ON THE PLACES WE STOPPED, & because of the horrible conditions they made our crew stand by the stage of the bands my knee was swollen twice the size it should have been. So I went to see the Cruise Dr, who told me to lay down for a full day. Well Tony, the "owner" of this company never let me have the break the Dr ordered. So on the last day the Dr sought me out to see how I was doing & found out that I was still standing by the stage, without any break & he was very much aggravated as you'd expect from a reputable Doctor. So the Dr went to find Tony & ORDERED him to put me on bedrest because of the condition of my knee. So Tony HAD to let me rest my knee or the Cruiseline wouldn't be happy with him. However the damage was done, when arriving back to Florida I had to have 2 surgeries on my left knee because they didn't provide a safe environment to work in. So I went to my cabin for 4 hours & we were being paid that night for our services. Tony told me he'd pay me at the port, which he never did. So now I've had to hire an Attorney to sue them for the cost of my surgeries, the pay I was supposed to receive, & several other violations my Attorney found out about this rent a cop "company". Out of around 25 to 30 people who did security on this Cruise there were approximately only 2 maybe 3 of us who were ex Police Officers, & Veterans.
