Negative experience: Communication was inconsistent. Final deliverables were disjointed and not particularly helpful. Requests that should have been routine came with expensive up-charges that other investigators do not charge for. Surveillance team lost the target which was entirely unacceptable. For the money, unacceptable service.
Brian... We are quite surprised by this review as we had heard from you while working together on this case that you were very happy with our work. We weren't notified that you had any concerns with our services at all, at any point. We certainly don't have expensive upcharges for our clients and work hard to treat all of our clients fairly. We shared 125 email exchanges alone. Here's a brief overview of how we see your positive experience: On April 12: You shared via email that you really appreciated all our hard work. On April 25: You shared via email that you "appreciate our help" and noted that the balance of the current retainer would be forwarded to us, confirming that our work was being done in a satisfactory manner. On April 26: You notified us that your lawyer asked if our investigators could be on call for the upcoming court hearing. We confirmed that we would. On April 27, 2023: You asked for the names and addresses of the investigators' assigned to the case so that they could be in court to testify on your behalf. Our investigator did go to court to testify on your behalf. On June 8: We spoke with you by phone and part of our conversation was you sharing that our investigation and services were great.

Fantastic experience: Experience and expertise. Investigator Robert Simmons is the consummate professional with decades of experience. He has pretty much seen it all. We worked together on a civil restraining order matter and I do not hesitate to recommend him.
Negative experience: No stars is not possible. Didn't even want to write a review but then thought of other people who might hire Bob Simmons. Especially those who already may be in distress. Stay away from Bob. Not only was he rude, inattentive, couldn't keep any facts straight, and didn't find a single piece of useful information beyond what's in Google search - he was also incredibly insensitive and decided to side with the person we hired him to investigate, for no reason and without any proof. Basically realized he took our money for nothing and found an excuse to end it. A terrible experience that we would not want anybody else to go through.
