Fantastic experience: Recently I have been trying to find my mother; it's a long and not so great story; but I kept hitting a wall until this morning. I looked on a website that said she had died but couldn't find any information anywhere. That's when I called ACS in hopes that maybe they could verify if she had passed away, and was greeted by the nicest gentleman. I briefly explained what I needed help with, he asked for the very limited information I had and was able to confirm that she had infact passed away. When I asked how much was owed he simply said "there was no cost, it's Sunday and I'm glad to have helped". He also pointed me in the direction of where she died; which lead to us finding the cemetery. It turns out she died labeled "indigent" and was cremated by the state / county. I am waiting for a call back to try to get her Ashes; luckily I'm in the time frame they should still have them. I would never have found out this information if it wasn't for ACS. I cannot thank them enough; and absolutely would recommend!!!!!
