Fantastic experience: If you are thinking of hiring a caregiver, even through an agency, a background check is not the place to save money! After interviewing several caregivers, we found one we were very comfortable with, who seemed very professional, and had all the traits we were looking for. Because I know Mike Coffey and the gaps in basic data searches posing as background checks, I insisted on running my own background check. The agency's report came through clean and they thought I was a little nuts for spending additional money on another report. The results were terrifying – multiple thefts, arrest for being a fugitive, criminal mischief, and assault, just to name the key ones.
