Fantastic experience: I was a seventy-year-old widower living tenuously on social security and a quickly dwindling IRA when I received, out of the blue, a letter from Pam Hedman of Drexel Hereford. She informed me that a distant cousin of mine, whom I had never heard of let alone met, had recently passed away without leaving a will. She offered to represent me in a procedure to establish my heirship to his estate. Since I had nothing to lose and, perhaps, something to gain, I excitedly accepted her offer. For over a year, Pam kept me updated on the progress of the court proceedings, and as time passed, I became less and less optimistic about my chances of inheriting anything. But at the end of July, she informed me that I had been approved as an heir and beneficiary of the estate and that I would be receiving my share of the proceeds shortly. Just a week later, I received an inheritance check in an amount sufficient to stabilize my financial condition for the foreseeable future. I’m not really a religious man, but I consider Drexel Hereford’s timely help a true miracle.

Negative experience: If you received a letter from this company notifying you that you are related to a long lost heir/family member that passed away, thank them for the heads up and RUN AWAY! In the beginning as they tried to win our business which entailed a 20% contingency fee (all inclusive) contract, they were very supportive. Once we signed on the dotted line and our case was handed over to a local law firm, the support dwindled. Ultimately, we had to fight our way out of double billing and it was a mess. There's nothing worse than feeling like you're fighting your own legal team. Best of luck!
