Fantastic experience: Neil Broom is the most knowledgeable, hard-working and professional IT expert I’ve ever worked with. I’m a veteran Criminal Defense attorney and former Public Defender in Los Angeles who has worked with Neil on several major felony cases that required his expertise. After bringing Neil on board, I was able to obtain outstanding plea agreements for my clients, as well as dismissals of the most serious charges. He was so good that the prosecutor in one of these cases later hired him to work on one of her cases. Recently, I worked closely with Neil on a very complicated jury trial matter. He was able to efficiently and thoroughly dissect all the volumes of cell phone data, explain that data to me, and testify in a way that a jury could easily understand. He was also unflappable and professional under very hostile cross-examination by the prosecutor. Thanks largely to Neil’s testimony, we got a “not guilty” verdict in that trial. Finally, Neil is a pleasure to work with – he is always available whenever I need him, and is always well prepared. I highly recommend him if you have a case that requires technical expertise.

Fantastic experience: Was referred to this company by our IT guy, had a word doc produced as a part of discovery in a civil lawsuit and needed to know when the document was accessed and what changes were made. Mr. Broom himself called in response to my inquiry within 30 minutes, discussed what I was looking for and sent me a spreadsheet with the information that afternoon and a summary of what he found. He checked back with me a month later to see if there was anything else we needed on this project. Even though I don't entirely understand the information he was working with, he explained how the information he found answered my question. He also outlined what other information we may need to request from opposing counsel to be sure we were in fact capturing all of the document revisions. And all done with excellent customer service. I will absolutely contact him for any forensic computer needs in the future.

Fantastic experience: I recently retained Neil Broom to analyze photos produced in a lawsuit and prepare an expert report detailing findings of evidence doctoring. Mr. Broom went out of his way to investigate the issues, including recreating certain aspects of the doctoring to ensure it could be done in the manner suspected. Not only did he take the time to listen and understand the issues and complete the work within a few days to accommodate my tight deadline, he did so for 1/3 the cost of what other forensics experts quoted me for the same work. I could not recommend Technical Resource Center more.
