Negative experience: I used Brieske Investigation Services to have an individual served for non—payment as much as I would like to give an awesome review in all honesty I cannot. This was my 1ST experience requesting these services in my lifetime, so I would not say I was knowledgeable in this area of expertise. The initial contact was Jim & discussed fees which I was told was $50.00 per attempt which is less than what the Sheriff’s office was charging. I explained to him I did not want to run up a huge balance because I felt initially the individual would be difficult to find or track down in my experience with the client. During his 1ST attempt to serve the client, he did speak over the phone because he was unable to locate the house, so I verified the address a 2ND time. In the end, the house number was not visible because of the overgrown brush & trees on the property. I also researched the owner of the house by contacting known individuals who potentially could have this information & digging on social media websites. He was successful after confirming the information by locating the house & speaking with the client’s father. When everything was completed I received an invoice that was summarized, but not itemized for the amount due. I politely asked him if he could give me an itemized statement, so I could review each amount charged. The additional fees were for the phone calls, unsuccessful data searches, & speaking with relatives at the locations. He then sent me an email message that he was worried about paying for the services rendered as I can only assume he has been burned before with other individuals not paying for the bill. When he sent me the invoice he attached another one of his client's paperwork to it & it made me nervous because I did not want my personal details shared with the individual I was serving or unknown people. He expected the bill to be paid within 24 hours. I did not live in the area the client was getting serviced approximately 1.5 hours away, so he wanted me to overnight a personal check. I offered to pay him electronically with Apple Pay or Venmo, but he refused to accept it. I knew if I sent the personal check by regular mail it would not be in time for the court proceedings, so I had no other choice. He received my paperwork 3 weeks in advance not sure why he waited until the week before the court hearing to take care of the task. In summary, I would not recommend his services & if I need these services in the future I will go with someone else.

Fantastic experience: Jim Brieske found my grandma when my mom was 55 years old and we enjoyed 20+ years getting to know a family we never know we had. We owe this all to Jim.
