Hello Tim, Usually, the person calling to check on the status of a payment will identify themselves by name, and identify the company that they are calling from. They will offer to provide a copy of the invoice for reference. They will ask when they can expect payment. You did not do any of these things. You were hostile to my employee who answered your call. You were angry and hostile from the first word with me and threatened a lawsuit over what turned out to be a wayward $20.00 invoice. Without identifying yourself or your company to me. And then you hung up without allowing me an opportunity to respond. The way I figured out who the hostile, angry, threatening man was that had called me was by googling your phone number. I must say, this is the first time we had heard from you or your company regarding this matter. We pay millions of dollars of bills every year. On time, without fail. I called you back to get more information, as we do not leave people unpaid. We consider honoring our obligations as a sacred trust. Anyhow, thank you for emailing me a copy of that invoice. We mailed out a check for the full amount ($20.00 in service fees and $5.00 in late charges) yesterday. You should have it by the beginning of next week depending on the performance of the US Postal service. I’ll check in with you next week to make sure you got the check. We wish you the best of luck.
