Negative experience: No Parking for picking up checks. Bring a licensed driver to wait in the car.

Negative experience: Inexperienced personnel ... Sleeping on duty, not patrolling. Today, 2 August 2021, another SPA sleeping inside the green bicycle shed at Kahili Bus Center plus another employee who works on another site, not following TheBus rules half the time concerning wearing the mask on their property and playing her music/videos loud, put on headphones. This company hires older personnel so if you're in any danger, don't worry they're not coming to help, them phoning 911 is their only weapon of choice. If you ask them a question or concern, don't worry they are in no need to check it out.

Negative experience: They are a scary bunch of people to work , the Trainer Al physically hit me where I had to file a police report .

Positive experience: There are no communication, what's so ever. We have to find out things through other employees or not at all.

Negative experience: Awful service and they treat employees terrible. They don’t pay overtime when earned or holiday pay as well. Their pay is minimal and you don’t get lunch breaks or any sort of break. Paychecks aren’t every two weeks but rather 15-17 days apart.

Fantastic experience: Service is amazing. People are great in every way. Lobby front desk personnel is great at handling customers and a great service provider to customers and company. Everyone in that office are great and very helpful from the boss man to every worker in that office. Oh and the instructor Mr. A.O. great trainer, his teaching will expand your skills and knowledge on being a great security officer.

Negative experience: Worst company ever! Worst pay of all security companies I can promise you that. They seem to care more about the company than their employees. Strict and annoying. They will call over and over. I'm looked down upon by them. I dislike star with a passion.

Negative experience: I was at a library where a star protection agency security person was on duty. I was working with a state of Hawaii employee at the library on a big project with $50000 worth of equipment. We broke for lunch and asked the security seating near the entrance if he don't mind keeping an eye on the expensive state equipment since it was back of the library near a rear exit accessible by the public. When asked he responded in a condescending manner "you want me to work for you?". I said never mind if you don't want to. I asked because you are the security guard at this library. Upon returning from lunch break, I looked at him and shook my head in disappointment. He approached me in a confrontational and threatening manner and stood inches away from my face and said "you have a problem with me?" I am very small in stature and was very intimated. I felt he wanted a physical confrontation and feared for my life. I thought he would follow me outside and cause me physical harm at a isolated location. I spoke to the head librarian and she says that state of Hawaii contracts security work with them and have no control of them. So I called the Hawaii main office star protection agency and spoke to Alan the director of security. He spoke to me in a very condescending and patronizing manner. I misunderstood that the library was not part of a school rather a state library system. He spoke to me in a arguing manner and corrected me. I felt we wasted time arguing about such trivial misunderstanding. Once I gave in and thank him for correcting me I filed a complaint but gotten no update. All in all my experience with them was intimating and unprofessional. If you need security services please consider other local security providers.
