VR, There were various topics discussed in the email but he vaguely says to "provide evidence of such" Also asked repeatedly if this most basic of service could be done. Followed up with him after radio silence and got a goofy "thanks for following up" with again no answer to my question. Wouldn't waste your time as they're still figuring out basic emailing practices.

Negative experience: This is the worst company to work with. Don’t waste your time or money. I worked with Michael, Dave and Randy and they don’t respond to you for months. They drag out the “investigation” for months with not a single update. Even when you ask for follow up they say they will give it to you in a week. I repeatedly emailed and called and they never got back to me until 4 months later. I would never recommend someone to waste their time with them. Honestly I am considering escalating things. Randy asked me when I would be free for a call and then never showed up. If this has happened to you, please email me. I am looking into opening a case on them. They don’t even tell you what they billed or how the money was used. These people are scammers

Negative experience: Owner uses very confused decision making. Disorganized. Owner indicated to me via phone that I was qualified and committed to an interview. He then delayed repeatedly due to some business reasons after promising that it would take place at a certain time and that I should contact him again then to schedule it only to then receive no answer. This kind of behavior helps to reveal his incompetence.

Negative experience: Run the other way !!! Smooth talk and boastful promises on their record and professionalism. Horrible communication if anyone bothers to get back to you, as well as fraudulent billing. Preliminary reports were made up of screenshot of social media pages that my 15 year old nephew could have provided. Save your money and time and find a company that can actually do the work

Negative experience: We are a PI company from Prague, CZ, Europe. On 15th July 2022 we were requested for assets check and surveillance of a famous person with US background in CZ. I asked for pre-payment but the case manager Dave Zinn wanted to do it very fast and I believed him. I was wrong. On 5th August 2022 I handed over all of the materials gathered during the surveillance. We haven't received payment yet, even after an exchange of tens of emails and lot's of promises from Dave side. We lost 3.289€. I have to warn all future clients or colleagues, be careful!

Negative experience: If I could give zero Stars I would there has been no response from these guys for over a month because they have done nothing for a year but they were very fast that take $5,000 out of my account and now they're ignoring me not returning my calls not returning my emails and definitely not returning my money for them doing nothing do not go with this company find somebody better who will actually work with you

Negative experience: I have been trying to get an investigation started for over a year now and all I here is covid covid but they were fast to take my money and have not done a thing. The past 2 weeks trying to get my money back and stonewall

Negative experience: This was a rather disappointing experience. I paid a large chunk of money and was told I would be informed exactly what it was being used for so I wouldn’t just be throwing money down a hole. Unfortunately that’s not what happened. When I would ask about this exact point (or something else), the question was usually ignored even after I repeated it. Eventually I would get an email back from my case manager which did not seem altogether polite, though I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt given that you can’t hear someone’s tone via email. He seemed to be irritated that I was pressing for results, which was not the case. I just wanted to know what was being done and what I was paying for. (I did not get the answer in that email reply.) Nine days later the case manager sent a 1-page report that gave us virtually no information about the investigation that we did not already have, and an estimate of $2400 for further work to be done. It took me two more requests to actually get an explanatory invoice. That invoice contained the details of the work I had been asking for, which was appreciated, except that more than half of the money was spent on the very nondescript “KP: General investigative.” When I asked what that was, I was told, “That's our [overseas] investigator, and general investigative is investigative work that isn't categorized as surveillance, research, or other categories.” Meaning, the majority of the money I paid went to pay for “stuff they did.” Not great in the transparency department. It was at this point that we decided to cut our losses. I emailed in to ask if it was possible to get back any remaining funds. After waiting a week, I sent a followup email, and again shortly thereafter got another email from the case manager which did not seem altogether polite (and in which I was told I would not be receiving back any unused money, which was not unexpected). I then emailed in to the company to discuss the situation before posting a review. I received an email back from the president of the company apparently encouraging me to share my feedback. I sent him the same info included here, with additional details. Two weeks later I had not heard back. I reached out again and he told me he was “on a trip and am not expected to return soon.” I have not heard back anything further. To be clear, I was not expecting huge or rapid results from ICS. I was expecting a little more in the way of transparency and courtesy. I didn’t get a whole lot of either. That said, I assume they did actually try to do some investigative work. I don’t think they are frauds. It just wasn’t a positive experience working with them (nor was it a cheap one, especially considering we got virtually no information - though again, the lack of results is by no means the major complaint here).

Negative experience: Do not use this company! They cannot deliver on anything included in the quote. Furthermore, as soon as they recieve the upfront payment they are unresponsive. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. I have waited exactly one month with no response at all. The case manager Daniel Toporowych and investigation director Tyler Rodgers don't corporate at all.

Fantastic experience: I contracted with ICS to try and locate a coworker. I worked for RMK-BRJ Construction Company in Saigon, Vietnam from 1967 to 72. My translator and Office Manager was a Vietnamese woman of Chinese decent. I will be visiting Vietnam in the spring of 2019 and was curious about what happened to my friend. I gave ICS my coworkers address in 1972 and several old pictures. ICS checked records with neighborhood committee and interviewed neighbors. According to neighbors my coworker had migrated to Belgium between 1980 and 1982. The report I received was factual and included pictures of people who were interviewed. Very professional report, didn't find my coworker but I'm confident my coworker will do well in Europe as she spoke 5 languages plus had all the office skills. Would recommend ICS and would use again.

Negative experience: I can honestly say it has been tiring trying to wrap up what I wanted them to help me with which was to locate someone with verification and perform a background check. This has been more work on my end trying to get updates and one would think that the company or investigator will call you in order to provide great customer service and not the other way around. The Analyst I worked with was great, seemed like a good guy, would follow up with me when he had the chance, sometimes not immediately, but at least I would hear something. The person my case got assigned to, NOT THE FRIENDLIEST AT ALL. I had maybe a five minute call with him and didn't hear back from him for like a week after I had to call him. I felt like he was rude and even talked to his Supervisor who also has yet to call me back. This is not the idea of customer service or help from them I was hoping for. I wanted to believe this was a good company to use but I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone due to my experience. To be perfectly honest my experience thus far makes me wish I never called them. I should have just went with a different service.

Negative experience: First they told me that they were charging me $135/hr and that I needed to put down a $1200 non-refundable deposit for 8hrs worth of work. Then after 4 hrs of work and calling daily did I get a partial update. I've sent 3 more emails waiting for the report and have received 2 emails back saying that they want more money - another $1200 to do additional work. I've used PI's before and this one seems like a ripoff, poor performance and seem only in it for the money.
