Positive experience: Unfortunately we were not able to close a deal... It's just an opinion but this dude sucks... Anything that need needs a belly button to be dragged away from the buffet, ??? Come on now

Negative experience: Buyer beware: contracted with a deposit of 3500.00 with no proof of an investigation done, no picture, no video, no follow-up outside a few texts and calls. Im a Contractor here in Hillsborough county, we have had a lot of illegal jobs being done and wanted to start an investigation. Sep 22nd of 22 we spoke with JCS in regards to our investigation. finally in Apr 26th of 23 we finally selected JCS as a good company to start this investigation with. I sat down with the owner of the company and his agent that April 26th 23 and explained what the case would entail and expressed confidentiality and that this was very important to us. I was told it would be a $7,000.00, a big sized investigation that would cover a wide scope, and required a $3,500.00 deposit. No problem, it was a lot of money but if it yields results it would be worth the cost. After the introduction to his agent and a 1 hour conversation explaining that both he and his agent would be working on this investigation and getting all the information for the contract. I specified that i would prefer text, and to express confidentiality, they even verified my cell phone number on the contract. I was told that Friday Apr 28th I would receive a phone call and work would commence, FANTASTIC. however, that Saturday Apr 29th 23, the agent called in on a recorded line and spoke with one of our coordinators at the COMPANY number, not my personal number that I had provided. The agent then proceeds to introduce herself as being in a short term partnership with JCS Investigations. putting everything in the open. *we still have this recorded call* and requested to have me call her back. Let me emphasize, this was confidential, we requested several times to keep the confidentiality. From April 26th to April 29th the agent forgot this request. Need I mention, it wasn't even as though this agent had not attended the meeting, and didn't know that this was expressed. Monday Morning, May 1st 23, we informed the agent of an illegal job our guys had overheard while performing a service at the customer's property. We were told they were too busy / that they had no one available. this job went on for 2 days and I went to the job itself and sent pictures to that agent. Nothing was done. Still trying to make this work. We called the agent and gave them some likely leads for contractors known to do these illegal jobs. The agent dismissed the additional information, saying she could get the information on her own. May 16th 23 Not as single picture, video, or followup had been done or at the least provided. When we questioned, we were told the agent had some material, pictures and the like. They have yet to be disclosed (Jan 7th 24) We requested to have a meeting scheduled that same day May 18th 23 I was texted from John that we would get a call back in 5 minutes, late that afternoon we received the call, not from the owner of the company who we had requested, but the agent and was told they both (the agent and the owner of the company) can meet the next day. May 19th 23 on the way to the meeting location as I was 11 minutes from the location, I was informed that the owner of the company would not be present, only the agent. 11 minutes before the meeting's scheduled time (I always try to be early). They did not have the courtesy to reschedule it prior to me making my way to the agreed upon location. Out of frustration, I cancelled the appointment via text. After having the cancelled appointment, this agent then threatened that she could terminate the investigation. I had requested the owner of the company because of the unprofessional service I was receiving. In our communication with this Agent I replied that i requested John specifically, Then 11 minutes before, you say he cannot join, that's unprofessional Issues: No proof of any investigation No follow-up of any concerns / findings / of any leads When we had a clear cut example, nothing was done Late notice, No help, No communication until the last moment

Negative experience: Not sure how my original review got removed but here’s another, 1:30 am at one of the complexes this company provides security for and “security” is no where to be found, yet again. Unprofessional when you reach out and when on property. Will sit in their car, drive around checking parking passes with a flash light from their car and leave. Not security in my opinion at all. I’d rather come home to my someone in my spot than 20 people in the pool at 2am. Edit: since my first review was removed and the business owner responded making it seem as if this was the only occasion. This has happened SEVERAL times in the past, all of which security never showed up. I’m not here to argue I’m here to make a statement so that future customers of this company may think twice. Not to mention I wouldn’t have had to leave another review had they not deleted the first one, wonder how many others are gone as well. Very clear how the company responds to concerned people who live in the area they “secure”.

Fantastic experience: I've been a property manager for several years now and I've never dealt with a company that goes as above and beyond for our communities as John does with his guards. I strongly recommend this company for any property managers looking to make their lives easier, excellent services.

Fantastic experience: Handles loitering and vagrant issues very well. showed great professionalism, and they have a social media its worth checking out.

Negative experience: Please be aware unethical practices used here. Protected information cannot be used without consent from any party being investigated. Also they misrepresented facts as well.

I gave him the information he needed, and within less than an hour, he had what I needed. Spoke with John again on the phone, relayed the info, and I was one happy girl. Thank you again, John, for your hard work. I'm sure I'll be calling you back in six months getting updates....lol..not to mention the kind words of encouragement. It was very much needed.

Negative experience: Terrible interaction with this company. Escalated a situation and police had to be called to get it sorted out. I did security for many years in clubs and I would have been fired if I spoke to my customers the way these 2 handled themselves. I would strongly advise anyone using this company for their future events.

Fantastic experience: Highly highly highly recommend!!!! I hired JCS a few months back. John and his team are really good at what they do! In my initial meeting with John, he went over everything from how he would conduct his investigation to prices. I learned quick when calling around to different investigators that the prices were never really a solid thing unless you wanted something basic and clear cut. Not with John and JCS. Every case is different but one thing I can honestly say is when JCS gives you a price then that is going to be the price you pay. John was open and honest with me the entire time. He informed me of things as he was working the case and by far exceeded my expectations. The results of his work when put on paper was profrofessional and organized.
