I have had the pleasure of knowing Henry for the last 7 years and everything about Aces Private investigations. He is one of the most upstanding men I know, and he is very passionate about his business/career. You will find no one better than Henry and Aces Private Investigations team. Fantastic experience: I recently had two businesses request that I obtain my Texas Personal Protection Officer certification from Texas DPS. This required my completing three online classes for Level II, III and IV certification and in person firearms / Defensive Tactics hands on training. I used ACE Investigations for my training classes. I found Calvin to be a very qualified training instructor who mentored myself and the other students in a very professional manner. As a retired Federal Agent who was a certified State of Texas Police Instructor and FLETC Federal Law Enforcement Instructor during my prior career, I would highly recommend ACE and Calvin to any applicants that find themselves needing v these classes to obtain their licenses. He and his company train at or above the level that I was trained at during my 24+ years with United States Customs Investigations and the Department of Homeland Security: Office of Investigations.

Negative experience: Bad communication. I got a hold of them. They were very short with me. Then a few days later, they stopped responding to my messages and left them on read. Very unprofessional. Apparently I’m not the only one who has experienced this. There are a lot of other reviews that experienced horrible communication.

They get through walls and find information that we can't because we're not licensed investigators. They resolved my situation 100%... my own relative lied about something major but we all know the truth now.... and it didn't even take but a couple or so days, they work fast!! Granted every case is different but the point is that this company doesn't mess around. They take your case and concerns serious and they work hard to get you answers. Fantastic experience: I had a marvelous experience with my full-service investigators. I called on a Wednesday night, to inquire about services, for that coming Friday. The ACES Lead Investigator was very warm and easy to talk with about my concern/ complex investigation. I immediately felt relieved and reassured that everything was going to be fine. I signed the contract, and I was assigned an PI within an hour. My investigation was focused on my special needs loved one’s living environment. Once the surveillance was concluded, the ACES investigators had an interview with my special needs loved one. She was very comfortable talking with the investigators. The investigators went over and beyond to assure my loved one was comfortable talking with them. ACES investigators were willing to relate and work with me, and my special needs loved one. I received great professional service and I would recommend ACES services for their willingness to work within extraordinary circumstances.

Positive experience: Case was not a success,...but not because of Abe, very little info to go on. Abe and I, here in Austin worked through communication to solve case, but weren't able to succeed because of little cooperation from one party. Other then that,...very impressed with the Agency,...

Fantastic experience: Overall very impressed with the service and response time. I contacted another 24hr agency Friday evening that didnt respond until Monday. When I called this agency, I spoke with owner of company directly - was not expecting that; he listened to my "why" and broke down prices. The retainer fee may seem a bit high but it's fair and to me, priceless for a piece of mind. The contract is self explanatory with prices broken down. My situation was extremely last minute and they had a guy in the specified area in less than an hour of setting things up (Area was in San Antonio). Members maintained frequent, constant contact. I really appreciate the PIs responding to feedback on things to look for and how long to follow - they really work with you. They reassured you that they arrived with pics and/or description of area. Videos were ok quality - this may be an area of improvement however they also gave a written email statement backing what was found and if official documentation is needed for legal matters, they reassured they will provide to the attorney. They sent background info on plates real time - very impressed. Again, I can't thank them enough for what they uncovered.

I was in a difficult situation and needed legal documents served within a day to an individual who was evading service of process. I called Ace after previously hiring another company that wasn’t able to deliver. Ace was very responsive and immediately started working on my case. They took the time to learn the history of the case and understand exactly what I needed. During the investigation/process serving the PI assigned to my case was in constant contact with me to update me and to receive additional instructions. After observing the address of the individual for some time and following him to a public place, Ace was able to serve the individual the same day. Negative experience: I called ACES to have a background check conducted on an individual. Henry was very short with me, forgetful and all around just not interested in my business. I found this company to be arrogant and unprofessional. They do indeed have alot of good reviews but some of those reviews seem to have been written by "positive writers" who are hired by company's to write positive reviews for them. I have hired many PI firms in many different states and ACES Private Investigations is by far the most useless Investigative firm I have come across. I would not recommend using this company when there are so many other PI firms to consider in the San Antonio area.
