Negative experience: Henry promised the world but I didn't get anything. All lies. Be careful. He's not even in Austin he tricked me by phone pretending he's here but wants a credit and everything in email. Don't expect any investigation to be done because I never got anything but a hole in my wallet. I know now that anything you pay a private investigator for you can actually get the information yourself. It's only a waste of money. They don't have special rights to get anything the public can't just get on there own without paying these high costs!!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Brandon from ACES enough. Our story: We hired a babysitter to watch our kids to go to date night and she ended up stealing one of my wife's handbags. We called her the very next morning asking if she'd seen it, and she casually said no. We knew there was no other way it could be gone and started looking for options. Called the cops and they said that a detective will be assigned to the case and they'd call in the next few days - basically a "sorry we've got bigger fish to fry". It's then that I started calling private investigation outfits. The first couple I called were national phone switch boards who were routing calls to someone local, which didn't instill any confidence. I finally called ACES and spoke to Mr Henry Mota, who's apparently the owner, and he advised me that time is of the essence with these types of things and that the sooner we got surveillance going, the better the chances. I decided to move forward and within minutes they spun up a plan and Brandon was assigned to the job and he texted me that he'd found her address and was on his way to surveil her. Brandon was ultra-professional from the beginning, giving us text updates on what he was doing and seeing. The first day was uneventful and he didn't see anything. The second day, he spotted the babysitter walking her dog. He called me, we put a plan in place to confront her vs. just surveilling her in the hopes she'd emerge with the hand bag. He confronted her and I don't know what he said, but next thing, she asked him to follow her to her car and he was able to secure the handbag. Later found out he gave her a stern talk about how her life was going to be hard and he was going to investigate everything about her, her past jobs etc., and other things along those lines. Brandon is amazing, he's an ex-soldier, tough but with a smoothness about him that can make him easy to work and get along with, but as I can only imagine, formidable to deal with when on his wrong side. He's now a member of the family, we'll have him at our house warming and other events. Needless to say, he'll be the first one we call should anything else go off track in our lives!

Fantastic experience: My motorcycle was stolen overnight and after spending hours the next day searching for it and waiting for the police to show up Brandon from ACES called me with news that his friend found a motorcycle ditched on his property and was able to trace the plate back to me. It was right down the street from where I parked it. Based off the broken handlebar lock and entire ignition being ripped apart it looks like someone tried to start it or at least haul it off somewhere and gave up. Big thanks to Brandon and his investigative skills for getting the bike back to me within a day of it being gone. From all the stories I’ve heard of motorcycle theft you rarely ever see it again. Negative experience: If you are considering doing business with ACES Investigator, I strongly urge you to seriously reconsider. I am normally not one to complain. Generally, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, sometimes you just have to tell it like it is. I spoke to the owner Henry and ensured me that they could help in my situation. I agreed to send him a $1000 for a retainer and he assigned me my investigator Brandon. Brandon was supposed to send me reports weekly to inform me of the progress of my case and how the money was being spent. After not hearing from him for 3 weeks I contacted Henry again and informed him of the situation. Brandon TEXTED me within 1 hr and said he will send me a report in a couple of days. Well, the report never came and I haven't heard from them since! It’s been 2 months since I paid and over 1 month since I have heard from them with NO report on anything! I hired them based off their reviews on Google which was the only reviews I looked at that time. Since, I have looked at their other reviews on other platforms such as yelp and saw something very differently. Please look at their reviews on other sites and you will see the 1 and 2 stars. If would have read the other reviews, I would have NEVER trusted them with my funds. ACES was nothing less than unprofessional and proven to be swindlers. I pray this review helps someone.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Aces was great! They are extremely professional and efficient. Dave Amis was assigned to my case. He is very knowledgeable in the specific type of situation I had. It was a time sensitive situation and he worked very quickly putting together a team of people (with my permission of course) to make sure no time was wasted. I felt very comforted knowing that I was not alone in dealing with my issue and that someone as competent as Dave was working on it. He is obviously an expert with a lot of experience as I saw him delegating instruction in the field and asked me very specific questions at specific points throughout the resolution of the case. When it came time to deal with civilians in the field, he knew what to do and handled it well. The whole thing was resolved in a matter of just a few hours which is so much more quickly than I was imagining. I’m so grateful for the work that was done. I received an anonymous text stating that I was being followed for some time, details of my life were known (to include where I get my morning coffee and referred to my family). In addition, I was threatened with professional ruin (blackmail) and physical harm. Unnerved, I contacted ACES to investigate the person behind the threat with the phone number that I had. They were able to provide me with details of the individual that allowed for positive identification that I used to file an official police report and a complaint with the place of employment of the individual. The information they provided allowed me to understand the nature of the threat and leveled the playing field by removing the cloak of anonymity. The person who took my call and the investigator were nothing more than professional. I highly recommend their services.
